[REVIEW] Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum

Hi there!

I'm pretty excited for my first post after some time. It's not like I want to be in hiatus, it's just my college wifi took so much time to be functioned properly. Anyway, it's better now and today I'll be reviewing the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum. If you've read my winter haul post, you must be already know that I purchased this. I originally planned to wait for a month to review this but since it has already shown some positive effects and I can't continue to use this in the meantime because of my face treatment so I decided to review it now.

I was given a free box of the cotton. :D

The serum is transparent in color.

If you notice, the cotton had two sides, the one with the lines and the other side with the hole-like design. Both functioned differently as the hole side is used to remove dead skin and you'll used the other side to dab the rest of the serum in the cotton onto the face.

The bottle really reminds me of the very classic cafe so I decided to put a sepia-like picture for the header. 

It turns out pretty..haha (at least for me XD)

When the first time Skinfood released this product a while back, I thought why black sugar can be benefited to the skin? Isn't it just a brown sugar? That's what I really thought back then coz I never heard about the black sugar before so I just assume that it is a brown sugar. 

For your information, black and brown sugar are two different things, basically Black sugar is more popular in countries like Taiwan and Japan. The black sugar is said to be more healthier than brown sugar because it contain so many minerals and the people in those countries used them as the period pain reliever. You can read more here.

Regarding the above statement that I said I had to stop using this serum for a while because of the skin treatment I did, it is because the doctor advice me not to use any kind of product which had an acid ingredient (it is not the acid that could burn your skin).

Right after Skinfood released this serum, it has be the most best selling product of their product. I saw a few reviews of this product before but many of them is not in depth review so I decided to try it out myself.

The above picture is not edited except adding on some words on the picture and cropped the eye part for better view (sorry for the moist looking face coz I wore my cream in both pictures..haha)

I was surprise after using this for a week, I can see that my face is a lot glowy and brighter looking. I always had a dull skin after a long day because it's hot here and I wore make up to class. This serum really helps to improve my skin and I also noticed that it lessen my oily face especially when I wore my make up for a long time. 

I experience a bit of itchiness for my first time with this serum but it doesn't happen after the second time.I guess maybe I over scrubbed my face before that so that's why it feels like that.

The cotton that came with the serum really a lot of help. I think it is a great invention coz I used both sides to apply the serum. The hole sides really helps removing the dead skin especially when I'm too lazy to use the face brush while cleansing my face.

There is a pleasant smell of this serum which disappeared after a while. Not sure if it is the black sugar smell or other ingredients.

Other than that, the serum is non sticky, moisturising enough for me and absorbs really fast! I'm loving this overall.

[REVIEW] Skin Food Honey Melon Hand Balm

Evening peeps!

I thought I just gonna do a simple review on hand balms.

Yea I know, I used to dislikes hand balm/hand cream because it just feel uncomfortable but my dry hands is getting worse so no choice, I had to use it since 3 months ago.

But I guess it's not too bad if you found great hand balm that could suit yourself.

I tried the Holika Holika Banana Hand Butter Cream previously and kinda love the smell. I haven't review it yet but to tell ya, the price is really expensive for a chibi size 0.0

Anyway, this time I tried this hand balm from Skinfood. I remember back then when I visit the SkinFood outlet, I tried few hand balm in this collection but I can't remember which flavor is it and I really love the smell and texture.

So I just guess the flavor when I buy this and it wasn't the one that I love..OTL. Should go back and try another flavor to confirm it back.

I heard about KoreaDepart  from some blogger so I check out their price and coincidentally found Skin Food hand cream & mask were selling cheaper than any other shop!! Ok, I won't say that all of their products are cheap coz some are expensive too. Plus, they charged shipping fee so it wasn't my cup of tea to pay for shipping fee..lol XD

It's just a coincidence I saw these babies are selling cheap + shipping fee is cheaper than any other online shops + free shipping so I decided to shop with them this time. It's a good deal so why not :)

It arrives after about 2 weeks and more. Sadly can't even captured the box(koreadepart written on the box) because my mom opened the box when it arrived, shove the products into my make-up stash and trashed the box TT

Anyway, here are the products. I got me a Skin Food  Black Sugar Mask(should have review this first but there is one comparison picture is missing 0.0) and a Skin Food Honey Melon Hand Balm.

This is the samples I got. The candies sure are cute! The packaging is really neat because they put all the samples in a plastic to keep them in place.

Forgot to capture the front but it's okay since I've shown it above.

 The texture is very creamy.

Well, good results right..?

The first time I used this hand balm, I thought I'm not gonna used it again because it feels really oily and my hands feels heavy as there is something on it..

So for second thought, I can't trashed my own money anyway so I just used it before I went to sleep. After a week or so I think, I lessen the amount of the cream I put on and gosh, it feels so light! It dries faster but leaving my skin moist. It doesn't feel sticky and greasy at all and I can't even remember if I actually put something on my hand.

and so the story goes on..the balm almost finished now coz I've been using it like most of the time. In class, before studying, after cleansing face, after shower and before go to sleep..fufu :D

So that's people say a little goes on a long way. The balm just absorb into my skin after light rubbing and it don't even feels soapy when I wash my hands. It last for the whole day unless I wash my hands with soap.

It smells like melon or more like milky melon? I'm thinking to buy another flavor or try to find the flavor that I crave for. This is worth a try except the packaging since it's a bit unhygienic to dip my finger in the balm.

Skincare & Cosmetics Haul~ #etudehouse #acclinic #lashperm

I've tons of reviews I need to complete but I don't really have much time right now to finish them so reviews may be up later(maybe weekend?)

I made few hauls  for Korean cosmetics and skincare few weeks ago(which is not from the sales I posted last time) . So,I'll just flooded this post with pictures..I mostly focused on skincare the most since my break out has been so much trouble for me and I think I should start making a progress about my skincare.

I choose Etude House AC Clinic Skincare for my new skincare routine coz I read some great reviews about them.I previously tried the Pink Spot Set few years back but it didn't do much since I didn't follow the routine.

I bought these with different seller which is from ebay.Few things I like about the Korean cosmetics sellers on ebay are their fast reply,helpful(which I ask them about the skincare routine,because it was a lot so I'm confuse which is which) and free shipping..oh yeah!If you want to buy anything,read their feedback first and their store points.Also,I cared so much about how they design and translates the description of the products..hehe :D

Few things that just arrived today..

Finally,it arrives~~I'm out of toner atm..

My new mascara!It is the newest one from Etude House and this is waterproof type.There are 3 more Lash Perm mascara which have different properties.

and my eye primer.I've been using the e.l.f eye primer for so long so I think I wanna try this since this have a veryyyy good feedback~~

 This arrives 2 weeks ago and I used it few times~love the smell and the bits~

 This set also arrives 2 weeks ago which is re-improve recently.

A limited edition AC Clinic set and this was the best seller currently in Korea..love this set!

And because of this set,I bought the full size products!

Initially I want to do a different post but the post maybe a bit sensitive and too long to blog about so I'm taking time to write about that..or maybe I wouldn't post it at all.It's all started when I watched a video few days ago and what the person says is just so true and it relates to me.I never do heart to heart post but I'll try to do one =)

My Cosmetics Arrived! #Skin Mal:Gem,Dear My Blooming Lips Talk,Innisfree

Hello guys!First of all I would apologize for the delay of my giveaway.I've been thinking since few days ago about the prize and I still didn't satisfied enough with it so please give me a bit of time to settle that and I'll do it fast!

Anyway,this post isn't much but I just wanna say that my cosmetics orders were arrived from Korea today!Nope,this isn't the one that I bought with a local seller last time as I asked for refund from them because it was nearly 2 months since the order and they haven't settle it yet with the custom.As far as I know,if the items got detained with customs after several times,there's no way you could let it go even with tax.Instead they'll just seized the items eternally and they'll take that home and gave it to their wife and children.Ok,it was a lie at the end of the sentence and I don't know what they actually do with the items but I'm pretty sure they took that home..that would happen considering my experience in living my life from the people lived around me.

I ordered this last Thursday and it took 3 days for paypal to settle the payment and today it was safely arrived.So total up days should be a week!It wasn't that long though..instead it was super fast considering this is not EMS but flat shipping rate which I chose.It was free shipping!!And I'm super happy!lol

P/S : This is the reason why I broke at the moment..lol

Actually I'm wondering what are these when I first open the box but it was some kind of replacing a lot of wrap bubbles into this super light balloon..lol

Took that little balloon out and tadaaaaaaa!

 Took out all of them!Every items wrapped with bubbles!

 Extract the items from the bubble wraps!Total of six items!

 2 pieces of Innisfree masks which one of them were given free! and an Etude House tint and Tony Moly tint..Unfortunately,I choose the wrong color of the tony tint T_______T .I suppose to buy the pink one not the red since I have the red in color..oh well...my mistake...T^T..So I have two tony tint of the same color..

Anyway,I'll be reviewing them shortly..so stay tuned!

My latest cosmetics haul!~

Hai!I missed blogging so much!Sorry for being hiatus.Actually I'm not,in fact I always visit this blog everyday..hehe..just don't know what to post..I have few items before to review but I'm absolutely forgot!

Anyway,I'm back for another review..hehe..

Yesterday I went to Jaya Jusco Seremban 2 and I got all this things!!It nearly cost RM190 for all of this!!haha..money burnt again..

Anyway,i bought a lot of face mask and eye patch since mine was out of stock..hehe..I really want to wear mask so much!

Owh..sorry for not the best pictures I have coz the camera is taken away by my father coz he wants to use for  his work..never mind..I just use my phone camera..

This are the things..look not much right but all of it was so expensive..!

Kiss Me mascara..at first I want to buy the Majorlica Majorca lash expander but the brush do not attract me at all..so I saw Kiss Me brand and the brush looks great too~!I got this for RM45+ coz the original price that is RM50+ is deducted becoz I'm a Watson member..

This is my first purchase in The Body Shop ever!I never purchase any from The Body Shop before but this was awesomely great~!i love the Vanilla smell!

 

The masks from Skin Food,the most left one was the new product so I try it first last night and the result was great!

Beauty Buffet Mask..I got this from Watsons..never heard of this before but the prices is quite kaw-kaw..but the second box I got it for less 50%..yipeeee...

elianto items again!haha..the eye patch got 12 pairs!reasonable like the price,RM12!and the eyeshadow,the exact price is RM8 maybe...but I got this for RM4 after less 50% if i'm not mistaken.(Sorry for the weird looking pictures for this two coz google is such a problem.I can't well upload this becoz of unknown reasons?)
