[REVIEW] Aritaum Honey Melting Tint

This review is sponsored by insta : @personal_shopper_4u in the color "Coral Candy" . I had the "Strawberry Chips" color with me for a long time so I thought, why not combine both review.

@personal_shopper_4u is a Malaysian online shop that sells a wide range of korean skincare and make up which is directly imported from Korea. They do have both ready stocks and pre-order items.
Do visit their insta shop or blog at koreanskincareandcosmetic.blogspot.com to see lists of products that you can order.

This tint is released last year I guess and it was quite a raved back then. Aritaum lippes are never disappointing in terms of colors since the had a huge range of colors every time they released a lip product and they smell sooo good! I had the Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint which I reviewed it last two years HERE and it smells like a cake!haha

It's a minimalist packaging and the cap represent the colors of the lip product.

Had to re-take this picture for so many times coz it won't stay still..haha XD

Swatches on my hand with flash on. It does represent the true color of the product.

Candy Coral is an orange-red in color when applied on my lips and it was more orange than coral whereas Strawberry Chips is a pink color, as you can see.

I could say that my first impression of this tint is that, this is not a tint. It is more like a lipstick balm (is that a term?). The texture isn't as "melting" as I'd imagined because I thought it will be glossy and moisturizing, kinda.

Another reason why I did say that is because when applying the lipstick on lip, it cause tugging especially on dry lips. I tried applying lip balm before applying this lipstick and it does make a huge different in terms of texture however the color would not be as pigmented as if you're applying on dry lip because the balm texture may interfere a bit with building the color. It's best if you just apply a little bit of lip balm, not too much before applying this lipstick.

One thing that I realize is when you have dry lip, as I'm building the color, it gradually became more moisturised and there is no more tugging. This happen maybe because the lipstick itself is actually quite moisturising but it was thicker than any normal lip balm. There's a candy like smell of the product but it'll disappear in seconds after it was applied onto the lips.

The coverage is quite good as it cover the true color of my lip. From the swatches, it looks like it will turn transparent but it builds up well on my lips. The color will easily disappear when eat or drink and it'll leave a trace of color when it is not properly cleaned.

In summary, it is moisturizing, highly pigmented and suits for any kind of skin color since the color is not too bright. I love this tint and if you would like to get it, make sure to check out @personal_shopper_4u on instagram. They have both ready stock and pre-order items :D

[REVIEW] Etude House Dear My Wish Lips-talk

Awh, finally I be able to blog again. This time it is from my recent testerkorea haul, not much of recent coz I bought this at 31 Dec 2014. Not that the package arrives late, but the date it arrive clashes with my have-to-come-back-to-college date so I had to wait for short break to be able to try them out.

Before I forgot, Xinnian Kuaile to all that celebrates the Chinese New Year :) I got a shock yesterday coz the firecrackers starts sounding like about 6.00 a.m while I'm still sleeping ;;;

Anyway, I only owned one of this lipstick and the other one was my sister(OR202) but it turns out that the colour was too bright and it didn't suit her so I'm not sure what I gonna do about this coz OR202 is definitely not my fav colour.

Brand : Etude House
Price : 6,650 won
Capacity : 3.5g
Purchase from : Testerkorea

It looks so much like the Blooming ones but slightly different on the shape.

I have the Beige color lipstick from Etude House like a two years ago and love it . I choose Beige again this time coz I really want to have another beige colour in my collection.

See how bright the OR202 is? o.o

I lurveee BE102 so much! It's not a pale beige and it is a perfect colour for me. While OR202 is actually brighter than the picture, almost like neon I would say and it's definitely not my type.

I've heard that this lipstick is really moisturising on the lips so I pick one to try and it turns out that it is wonderfully moisturising! Wohoo, I'm definitely gonna check out another colours and purchase them!

It glides smoothly on the lips and the moisture last pretty long for me and it'll leave a hint of red after the lipstick wears out.

There is also a slight scent like Etoinette lipstick and the lipstick doesn't taste weird butI find it sweet? Coz I went out today using the BE102 and eat pizza and went shopping after but I found that the lipstick is sweet when I licked it..haha

Since it is a moisture lipstick, the colour can wears off when drink or eat but it last much better than other lipstick I've tried. Other than that, because of the texture is so smooth, it might melted when it is too hot.

I had no complains about this lipstick coz it's one of the best I've tried.

I rate it:

[REVIEW] Etude House Princess Happy Ending Lipstick

Hello sweeties!
Today I present you the latest Etude House x Disney Collaboration and that is the Princess Happy Ending lipstick! Well, I have to say that mine is only the purple one and the red one is my friend's. I only borrowed her lipstick just for the picture..hehe :)

In this collection, Etude released about the same colour as the Minnie lipsticks but they included along bb cream, blushers, mascara, glitter eyeshadows and nail colours in this collection. I have to say the first item in the collection that caught my eyes is the glitter eyeshadow and I'm intended to buy it but for some reasons, I only get only two items in the collection which is the mascara and this lipstick. Lately I'm on the saving mood, which I would reveal/never reveal out later..haha..So that's why I didn't shop that much if you're following me on my instagram.

Anyway, as usual, this was purchased from Testerkorea. I know there are some bad reviews about them, but though, those bad things never happened to me and instead I'm always happy with their service, replying e-mail, adding items and such and they never failed to reply me in time. I wish they would continuously serve me in the right way.

Product Information:
Name : Princess Happy Ending Belle Lipstick
Brand : Etude House
Production : Made in Korea
Purchased from : Testerkorea
Price : 9,000 won each

Cute!If I have to choose, the Snow White packaging attract me more than Belle~haha

I want so much more than they've got planned?..?

The ingredient list for Belle. I don't think the varies much in the ingredients list and I have to admit, Etude House ingredients are always so long..haha

The colours looks perfect side by side and I really thought the red colour was actually prettier in real. Should I get one? But I'm afraid that red will make me look old..

The right one is one layer of swipe and the left one is two layers of swipes.

The formula for this lipstick is really moisturising. It doesn't cause tugging while applying and it easily glide on the lips even for dry lips like mine. There is a hint of sweet flowery scent to it but it wasn't strong but still, I love it.

The colour as you can see is very pigmented. With only 1-2 swipes, the colour can turn out pretty bold. I don't always wear bold colours because I'll look old T_T but those who love bold pigmented colours would love this lipstick.

The colour is purplish pink but more to purple or plum. I think this is my first purple lipstick and I think the colour is quite pretty. Maybe I would not wear it full lip next time, just do a gradient lip would be fine I guess.

I also don't think that this lipstick would melt easily like what happened with my Princess Etoinette lipstick. Yeah, in case you didn't know, most of my Etoinette lipsticks have melt and broke..;(
Possibly because Malaysia is too hot..

One more I would like to add, this lipstick is so hard to remove. I tried using water as usual to remove the lipstick but it was resistant compared to other Etude's lipsticks.

Overall, it's a nice lipstick to try. The most appealing part for me would be on how moisturising it was :)

sorry, did I look like a creep? It's the first time my brother is willing to help taking pictures of me so hopefully this doesn't look bad.. (btw, I'm wearing Belle lipstick in this picture )

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] Etude House Play 101 Pencil #15 & #27

Hi there guys!
So I'm unable to combine reviews for these multi purpose pencils from Etude House because of the mismatched arrival. However, I'll link back to the previous post for you which I include nine swatches of the pencils here.

This two pencils are sponsored by Happie Bubbles which is a local Malaysian Korea Beauty Store that sells various Korean Beauty products! You might want to check their facebook page here. I like how bubbly their photos are :D I was asked to choose any products to review so I choose two of these pencils for that. The parcel arrived to me yesterday and I've tried the two of them since I was excited whenever a parcel arrives for me..haha

This time I tried the sharpen it but so many problems encountered while sharpening No.15 because it is so soft and the sharpener often got stuck with the product at the end making it messy.

These pencils are twistable and attached with sharpener.

I did not do the outdoor swatches picture for the previous post so here is the outdoor version. Paper swatches were kinda useless so I didn't do them this time.

The pencil is twistable and it means that you don't have to use the regular sharpener to sharpen the outer black part. They attached a plastic sharpener at the end of the pencil to sharpen the tip if needed.

I love how unique the idea of making this multi-purpose pencils as eyeshadow, lipstick and eyeliner in one. Most of my eyeshadows are came in palette or individual cases so it takes a lot of space in my pouch when I travelled. However, with these pencils types, it easily fit into my pouch and I can bring as much as I want to with varieties of colours.

No.15 - It is a glossy type which is very soft to me. It kinda easy to melt (it's hot here) and hard to sharpen because it tends to get messy a lot. I love the colour so much. It's a peachy orange and suits lips very much. Unlike No.23 that I reviewed here, this No.15 is pretty much not suitable for eyeshadows because it might creased. No.23 is less glossier and I've tried using it as eyeshadow which works for me.

No.27 - Is a glitter darker pink in colour. Honestly the poster photo is different from the real tip which you can trust the poster better because the pink wasn't as dark as the tip shown. The swatches are comparable with the poster photo and I like it that it won't smudges after it dries. It feels a little bit rough as No.44 because of the glitter but it is a really pretty colour. Suit to be an eyeshadow and it is waterproof too.

Overall, I love these pencils so much! Would love to get the blue version next :D
I definitely recommend everyone to try it :) Read my previous post for another nine colours swatches!

I used No.15 on the center of the eyelid and No.27 for the whole eyelid. No.15 is being an epic fail to be an eyeshadow even though I prep my eyes with eye primer. Sorry, I'm kinda lazy of putting mascara so I used falsies..haha..it's a bit mess there.

I rate this :

[REVIEW] Etude House Play 101 Pencil

Hello there!
I'm so excited to review these multi-purpose pencils from Etude House that I received last week from Testerkorea. I wish I could get more but since my Paypal transfer limited only to RM500 per transfer and I don't know why, so I can't buy more than that. Plus, buying more than that is risky for getting my parcel detain. I don't want that to happen.

Only got nine pencils for now.

Sorry for the unseemly looking tip. Two of them were dropped by mistake and I don't sharpen them on purpose to show how soft it was.

I really don't know this before because there aren't any websites that stated this :
These pencils are twistable. It means that you don't have to sharpen the outer black pencils to get the product. Every pencils are attached with cute tip sharpener in case you need precise lining.

On top is the swatches on my palm and the bottom one is the swatches on a white paper.
Just to note that all the colours are showing similarities with the real swatches except for some of the white paper swatches. It's best to refer to my palm swatches.

It was really hard to choose the colours that I really liked because I know the real colour is different from the posters on their website. So I take a look at a lot of Korean blogs for the colours although the colours are quite confusing considering the lighting and sharpness of the pictures. I finally able to choose nine colours in total, well, actually a lot more.

If you head on to Kpoptown, they already describe each number of pencil for its texture and proposed use. So if you would like to make decision, please take a look at their translated posters first because each pencils came with different types of textures. I'm more to colours person so it doesn't matter if they're matte, glitter, creamy or glossy. But overall, I really like the glossy and creamy type because the glitter is a bit hard to blend after they dried.

About the sharpener attached at the end of the pencil, I'm glad that they did it because it's helpful for sharpening the tip but what I dislikes is when the tip is used for creamy or glossy type, it will cause a huge mess because the product into the sharpener hole. Cleaning thoroughly is needed after each sharpening.

Some of the glitter and matte type are waterproof and smudgeproof. All the other types can be smudge considering that most of them are used for eyeshadows and lip. I advised that if you would like to used the pencils on eyes, it's better to put on eyelid primer because it can easily creased after a few hours. Other than that, there is no scent for this product unlike other Etude House products.

No.10 - It looks a bit dark in the poster however it fit perfectly with my medium skin tone. It is matte but it is easy to blend. Perfect to be the lip concealer and conceal minor blemishes.

No.12 - This pencil is glossy and fit for lip. Although it is a multi-purpose pencil, I would not recommend this to be applied on top of eyelid because of the glossy texture. It is easily messed up and creased and it hydrates the lips the best. Pony called it "Vermilion Orange" which I think is the best describe the colour. To compare between poster advertisement and real swatch, it is quite the similar to each other.

No.18 - This is a subtle matte lavender. I'm so into purple trend right now and I'm thinking to get the No.19 as well but since I'm not too sure how this colour will turn out because I hadn't seen proper swatches for it so I took No.18 to try first. Although this is the matte type which is similar to No.10 however, I notice that it is quite hard to blend after it dries and the time taken for it to dry is really short. Quite a work with this. Pony using this as blusher and it also can be used as eye shadow. Real swatch and the poster picture is comparable.

No.23 - This is a pigmented glossy burgundy colour. It is similar to No.12 Vermilion Orange and I would recommend it only for lip. However, if you know some adjustments like adding a powder on top of the color to lessen the glossy texture, it would might work as eye shadow too. The poster advertisement colour is really different from the real swatch.

No.26 - Is a glitter type and falls into the creamy category considering the texture. It has gold glitters with it as the poster advertisement shown. The colour is a peachy pink and from the swatches, it has the exact colour as the Etude House Color Pop Drawing Show Creamy Pencil in PK103. Though it is glitter type but I find it quite creamy for me which I preferred. The poster picture is a bit misleading since this looks pinker.

No.29 - This is a shimmering type. It's a vampire purple in colour and it glides really easily. Suit to be an eye shadow or eyeliner. However if you want to use it as an eyeliner, it might disappear easily so it's best to top the colour with powder shadows.

No.44 - Because it is a glitter type, it feels a little rough when applied on skin and this applies to all glitter type pencils in this collection. It is a gold brown pencil colour and suit as an eye shadow.

No.47 - Is a copper coloured pencil. It glides easily and it is soft which is similar to the No.29. I really liked how this pencil glides on my skin because it is really soft. Suit to be an eye shadow.

No.50 - This is a black brown in colour and it is creamy type. I always used this as my eyeliner because it glides easily on eyes which at the same quite easy to be a mess. It is important to always sharpen the tip for eyelining or it will be everywhere and at the end of the day, most of the time my eyes would turn panda with this because it smudges easily..haha. So it's best to dab on powder shadows on top for longer resistance.

I'm using the pencils on my eyes and a little bit on lip. Colors used are No.10,18,23,26,29 and 50. I thought the eyes were pretty simple to do so I didn't do tuto but if you would like to, then I can add it later.
