[REVIEW] Onsaemeein Velvet Moist Lip Tint

Hey guys!
Well, I'm still in the middle of my final exam and there's one paper to go! I had a little free time so I thought why not blogging a little while.

Anyway, I got this lip tint from Althea.kr for RM22.00 and I've been collecting a few lip tints to try and this is one of them. I like coral color so I picked #04 Acoustic Coral color from the collection.

(pic source: Althea.kr)

The design is fairly simple.

I actually don't know why this is called a tint because it's just like a normal lipstick to me and it didn't leave any kind of tint on the lip ;( I always like tint because it stays on without having to worried for rubbing it off but this is just a disappointment.

I agree that the color is very pretty but it would looking like a mess on dry lip or chapped lips. I have scrubbed my lip thoroughly before applying this tint and even applying lip balm and it's still accentuate my dry lips T_T

On the above picture, I only apply on the center and gradually smoothen it out with my fingers but when I tried to apply it on full lip, it will get dry, thick and sticky which horrible-looking  and is totally the opposite of the "light and fresh" advertisement.

If you have tried the Peripera Peri's Ink Velvet (which I haven't review yet) it has a similar kind of texture but this is way thicker and doesn't spread easily like the Peripera one.

It does have a nice sweet scent, which almost similar like a lot of tint but it would suit people with plump lips better.

Overall, I didn't like this since it doesn't meet my expectation and would not repurchase.

Thank you for reading :)

[My Collection] Etude House Pink Skull Eyeshadow, Twin Shot LipsxTint & Sun Blind Cushion

I wanted to do this for some time now, like sharing my purchase and such and no matter how small the purchase is. It is because I may or may not review the products in the future but I want to let my readers know that I'm still here although I'm busy and not posting any reviews. So small posts like this can make this blog livelier and not dead ^^

Anyway, this is like a small purchase I asked my friend to buy while she was in Korea back in July (too bad I can't go with her because of my new semester of study just begun T_T) and I listed a few products for her to buy and she bought everything correctly with all the little details though she aren't good with makeup and such. Thanks to her, I can get the Pink Skull eyeshadow with discounted price, yeay~ ^^

There are a few like tools in my haul but idk why it's not in the picture (since I have this picture for some time now) but indeed it is a small haul since I've used up a lot of money for new semester T_T
FYI, I didn't buy the lip tint myself, it was the giveaway prize that @etude_official sent to me after winning their insta giveaway and honestly, I didn't expect to win at all since.. you know, there's a lot of followers who did the same. Originally, it is suppose to be one etude's bracelet and one lip tint but they changed the prize because of the problem with customs(?) but I was happy either way :D

The eyeshadows is in No.1 Lovely Skull and I know a lot preferred the No.2 version, Punky Skull. The No.2 shadows are almost similar to their Blooming Rose palette which I already have so I get this one instead. It's sooooo beautiful! No kidding

The pencil like-type is the new 3-1 eyebrow pencil which is the combination of brow highlight, brow pencil and mascara. The highlight didn't work for me though ;(

The white-blue cushion is the Sun Blind cushion, a cushion-type sunscreen and I LOVE IT! To bad that it was very little in volume and finish up so quick for me, almost dry by now ;(

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] Tosowoong Makeon Dual Shaking Lip Tint/Spicy Gloss

Remember that Roserosehop sent me the Tosowoong Makeon Princess Season 3 Gel Eyeliner a while ago? They actually sent me along these three colors of Tosowoong Makeon Dual Shaking Lip Tint as well. I don't have any single idea what "spicy gloss" meant but I guess I do now..haha

Do check out Roseroseshop if you would like to purchase #kbeauty products! They offered wholesale too if you're interested in that and their price is definitely the lowest I've seen so far.

Before the review, here's a little bit about these lip tint;

Brand : Tosowoong
Product : Lip Tint
Volume : 5.7g each
Price : 5000won each or 4.63USD each
Where to buy : Roseroseshop

Out of the three name, idk why Orange is the one that sounds normal? haha

From top : Blood, Vampire and Orange.

These lip tint is actually oil mixed with the tint however it wasn't greasy just like a lot of oil tint however, as I said in my previous review, oil tint and my lip doesn't go well together since it creates uneven color on my lip. I can't even wearing gradient color with this.

After wearing these lip tints continuously for all three colors for lip swatches, my lips literally BURN! It was because of the "spicy gloss" that I was talking about which I guess is a mint(?). It was sooo strong that even after one application, you can already feel the burn so you can imagine me wearing all three T_T However, it doesn't burn forever but it takes time until the burning disappears.

Burning aside, I find that this lip tint makes my lips feels smoother. It feels like my lips is moisturized from all those burns (lol jk) but it definitely my lip lines lessen. It's not sticky at all and it feels plump even after it dries completely. The long lasting is really good as my normal makeup remover can't remove this completely even if I'm rubbing my lips really hard.

The color is really pigmented and it was actually brighter in real life compared to the picture above.
I would note than the vampire lip tint looks a little darker than in picture and my friend said that it was a pretty color. I would think it is pretty but I'll look grungy if I use it as a full lip color.

The lip tint smells a lot like mint chocolate, no kidding but it doesn't taste as good when I try to lick it from my lip since the mint was quite strong, so it's a little bitter(?) I guess?

Overall, aside from the fact that it burns, the lip tint is is quite good considering the pigmentation and long lasting. I would use it if the "spicy gloss" was removed from the formula.

I rate this;

[REVIEW] It's Skin Babyface Oil Drop Tint #01

Hi there!
Today's post will be about this lip tint from It's Skin that were sent to me by Q-Depot.com
If you are not familiar with Q-Depot, they're a Korean cosmetics online shop that sells most Korean cosmetics including Korean skin care and Korean makeup. They also offered a free shipping service for orders above USD49. Currently the shop offer USD25 cash coupon that can be use once you register an account at Q-Depot.

Brand : It's Skin
Origin : South Korea
Product : Lip Tint
Color : 01

The bottle when shaken.

This is what the lip tint looks on my lip.

I received the color of  #01 which is a red color among the three in total. The lip tint definitely looks red from the bottle and it is actually much pigmented in real.

With just one swipe, I can already see a bright red in color but since oil-based tint always disagree with my upper lip, which it can't present much color on it so gradient lip won't be possible for me because it will only create uneven color. However, when it is applied in full lip like the picture above, it surprisingly looks nice :) although you might still see on  how bright the color on my bottom lip but less red on my upper lip.

The finish will create a shine on lip but not too much I'd say and it definitely doesn't dry out the lips for a few hours after applying. The color might face a little if you drink or eat but it won't disappear completely.

There is a sweet cherry scent to it and it was quite sweet when I licked it..haha
and the removal is quite tough too since the tint stain pretty well on the lip. I suggest using a makeup remover will do.

Overall, I like this lip tint since it doesn't dry out my lip and the color is really bright with only one swipe but since my lip is wrinkly type so the color looks on uneven especially on the upper lip when I tried to do a gradient lip color.

I rate this:

Thank you for reading :)

[UPDATED REVIEW] Etude House Twin Shot LipsxTint

Hi guys!

Today I'll be reviewing this new tint from Etude House. I just can't resist the cuteness and thought that I wanted to get two colors from the whole list. However, another color got a little bit of problem and it might took a while so I just proceed with the current color that I have now.

This is in the color of BR401 (Mug x Chai Shot) which is suppose to be brownish, kinda nudy color just like the Etude House "BR" color shade for its lip products. I always love this type of color especially from Etude House and most probably I have the pretty same color for most of Etude House lip products..haha

Anyway, let's go to the review :)

You click the black button to push the tint shot out.

After you wiped off the mousse, you'll see a tiny hole for the tint.

Mousse on the left and tint on the right.

Since I don't want to create a new post for this so I just update the review I already posted added with some explanations below. This is the color that I said were coming later and it took me longer than I expected.

This is in the color of PK002 - Inner x Peace Shot. Originally I was targeting the PK001 but since looks like it is interesting so I ended up picking this.

Left is the "pearl tint shot" and right is the "changing tint".

As for the other color, most of it are"mousse" and "tint" but this doesn't apply for the color alone.
Based on the box, it says that the blue is the "changing tint" and the light pink is the "tint shot"

With the "changing tint" in the blue color on tube.

This swatches is added with the "pearl tint shot" in light pink in color.

REVIEW FOR BR401
The mousse tint is in nude color and the tint shot is more like pinky orange in color. It might differ on each person and the tint shot came out on my lip is more to orangey than pinky orange.

The texture of the mousse is almost similar to A'pieu Sarangbit Painting Tint which is almost powdery in finish but this Etude House twin shot is more moisturizing than that. It is also very light in texture which it spreads very thin on the lips. Whilst the tint shot have a brighter in color but when it was mixed with the mousse tint, it turns paler. Both colors are build able in coverage, especially the tint shot where you can opted for a brighter color by building the color on the lips.

Both colors are super easy to apply using the applicator provided and it doesn't take long to fully cover up my lips. The slanted applicator is really much of a help.

The packaging, it is quite big than the rest of the tint I have, even the Etude House darling tint is a little bit smaller than this. I actually don't like the combined packaging which you can get the mousse and tint on the same applicator coz it just a little waste. For example, you only wanted the tint shot but there is mousse tint on top of the tiny hole and you have to wiped that up before you can get the tint shot.

Secondly, the tint shot is so hard to get out especially for the first time clicking. If I'm not wrong, Etude House advice their customer to click the button for only 2-3 times for the first time as the tint takes time to go out but no matter how long I wait, 2-3 times is not enough! I wait for about 10 minutes after clicking 2-3 times and nothing came out!lol and I think I click about 20 more times to finally have the product.
(Update : They changed the packaging which the two colors are separated in double ends! I guess they do get lots of complaint over this clicking packaging)

After the first use, you actually don't have to click that much but since 1-2 clicks takes too long for the product to come out, I usually click more than that but ended up with too many products coming out non-stop..geh, another waste. So basically, this is not a product you would use when you're in a hurry though. XD

This product is not long lasting as it fades away after eating or drinking but the tint shot will leave a hint of tint behind even the mousse tint have completely gone. (Update : I do notice that the "tint" leave a stain on the lip and last a lot longer than the "mousse")

For dry lips, I suggest you wearing lip balm before applying this as it might dries out after a few hours on lips.

Despite having problem with the packaging, I still like the tint because of the pretty color and it doesn't dry out my lips as I thought it would be.

REVIEW FOR PK002
The texture of this tint is liquid-y and both of them are tint. The blue color will turn to a purple-y pink color on the lip after applied but depends on a person's lip, the color may turn darker or lighter. In case of my dark pigmented lips, it did turn quite bright purple and it is quite glossy too. However, later in the day, I find it gradually turn into red in color although there is still a purple hint left to it.

As for the light pink tint, there is gold shimmer in it ,probably you can't see much in the lip swatch but from the hand swatch, you can see the gold shimmer reflects the light although my camera can't catch the gold shimmer properly. This color is pretty glossy too and thinner in consistency than the blue tint and because of that, it settle into my lip fine lines as you can see in the second lip swatches.

I'm not sure how to say about this color since I find it way to glossy for my liking, it's not sticky btw but it feel uncomfortable to feel like there is something on the lip and it feels heavy at that. Most of the time I have to blot a little to lessen the glossiness. It would be great if you can use a lip brush instead of direct apply but I don't have that much time as I'm lazy tho!XD I preferred using the applicator given.

Other than that, I find that this color is a little too purple for my pigmented lips and I don't think it looks good on me as it make my whole face looks dull. I always had to add a little red to lessen the purple. However, this is a personal opinion and I do saw a lot of people looks good in it but not me ;(

I rate this :
