[REVIEW] TheFaceShop Character Mask (Fox,Tiger,Panda)

Hey guys! It's been a week since my last posting. Sorry coz I'm too immersed reading manga and watching animes -_-"  Talking about manga, just recently I started to read shoujo again and do check out Love So Life! The storyline involved a babysitter and a twin! They're so cute! haha

So back to the review, as far as I remembered, I never done any proper mask review before because I was too embarrassed on putting my picture up with mask on but I guess this is exceptional. The masks is so cuteeeeee!

Character mask or animal masks is like all over the place now and also the recent lace mask. The usual mask is kinda plain with no design and I think this is a super brilliant idea :D

Panda :D

Fox :D

Tiger :D
I personally choose The Face Shop brand just because they cost cheaper than the other brand like Berrisom haha..

Taken from cosmetic-love:
The character mask sheet deliver rich moisture to dry and flaky skin with Hyaluronic acid and Collagen. Formulated without 4 additives ( Mineral Oil, Sulfate, Talc, Polyacrylamide)

Different from the other brand, this masks from The Face Shop has only one properties, which to hydrate ( Fox, Tiger, Panda, Otter, Sheep) and I personally think that these mask do a very good job! My skin feels very moist without stickiness and this is a the first time that I feel the extra essence doesn't cause my neck from getting sticky. I usually avoid applying the extra essence from the mask on my neck because it tends to feel uncomfortable and sticky but this mask doesn't do that.
The moisture stay on my skin even on the next day after I woke up from the sleep!

There is a slight honey lemon fragrance which smells really fresh and I loved it! The mask also fits me alright though I preferred it to be a little wider on the sides and shorter on the forehead but it's no big deal.

My favourite design is the panda and tiger coz the fox looks so plain on me...haha

If you want the sheet mask with properties like Brightening, Elasticity or etc, you may check out the new TFS character design ( Puppy, Cow, Pig, Zebra, Monkey)

Overall, I love these masks! I would recommend this to everyone even for oily skin/ acne skin people because it caused me no breakouts and no extra oiliness on the skin :D

I rate this :

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Face It Velvet Skin Primer

Hi ,
So I decided to review this primer which I have for quite a while. I saw this was crowned No.1 in "Get It Beauty" blind test so I decided to try it out.

I still love my Banila co primer but sometimes a change of pace is not wrong right? After all I'm a beauty junkie so I can't be satisfied by just trying a product for a long time.

By the way, I got this with a box but not sure where did I put it or it was mistakenly trashed so no boxy-piccies. (For ingredients, you may look up to other blogger reviews, they did put the ingredients picture from the box)

Product information
Name : The Face Shop Face It Velvet Skin Primer
Production : Made in Korea
Volume : 30g / 1.05 oz.

It came with a pump.

Instead of writing the manufacturing date, they did otherwise. In fact, I like this better.

Can be used 12 months after opening. Someone tell me what PET means?

The product is a transparent gel type.

Partial blending. Because it is transparent so it's hard to notice.

This primer will create a soft smooth skin after applied and I use it to cover my pores especially on cheekbone, nose, forehead and chin. That way, my foundation will glides easily without looking bumpy.

Although the primer claimed that it is best for oily skin, it does because the finish is soft matte but in terms of oil control, I guess it doesn't do much. I did blot frequently to get rid of the oil from my skin.

The texture is transparent gel type and it is very light on skin. I have no experience in breaking out while using this.

There is a faint flowery powder smell to it which smells really pleasant. It wasn't over the top for me because I always love something that smells good.

Price is reasonable. I got this for about RM30-RM40 somewhere is between. As I remembered, it is cheaper than Banila co primer.

One 30g tube last me for so long. I think it has been about 4-5 months now and I still have a very little product left.

It is a worth try if you're looking for something that could cover up pores without breaking out your skin but if you're looking for oil control primer, I guess this is not for you. I already bought a new primer from another brand so I'll be trying that after I finished this up.

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Face It Aqua UV Color Control Cream SPF50+,PA+++

Hi guys!
I'm so happy that I made to post this before I'm going back to my college..

Anyway, today I'm going to review a CC cream from The Face Shop. You may be familiar with this because I reviewed the older version here. I just bought this recently after a long thought because cushion type foundation is becoming more popular now and as you may know, the latest hit which is from Etude House. Probably because their brand are more global and a cheaper alternative for the cushion foundation, I saw quite amount of reviews for the product. Well, of course I'm tempted but thinking that there are possibilities that it would breaks me out like the previous Etude House BB cream, I'm holding back from buying them.
P/S : I'm aiming for IOPE or Hera but both of these brand are so expensive >_<

Anyway, back to the product, I finally made a decision to keep using the cc cream from The Face Shop because it works really really well on me. There are a lot of compliments from my friends and family that my skin looks really nice with this on. Usually we tend to stay with the product because of this kind of reason right? hehe..

This new version is added with higher SPF. The previous one is only SPF30 and this one is SPF50 which is a plus point for me since Malaysia is undeniably hot and I'm too lazy to put on sunscreen.

Product Name : The Face Shop Face It Aqua UV Color Control Cream SPF50+,PA+++
Price : Original (RM59.10), with discount, (RM57.30)
Where I got this : here

Look how shiny the compact is with the blue sparkles.

You can change the refill by pushing this round thing at the back of the compact.

I wanted to show how glowy it is :D

Better used the sponge provided! :)

I never put full face picture while reviewing so here is the full face of mine to show the after effects of applying the cc cream. Sorry that I don't have before picture but I think you can guess mine based on this picture. Edit free and you can zoom in if you want..lol
For now, I only had the redness on my cheek because using Missha Treatment Essence really helps my skin to improve :D

opps..sorry for my messy room. My sister had an engagement this coming month so she throw everything into my room because I'm living in my hostel mostly.
I used flash in the photo because the light is coming from the back so my face would look really dark if I don't .To my surprised, the cream doesn't really reflects with the flash on!Isn't that awesome?

I suppose to bring the older version of the CC cream with me but I left it at my hostel so I can't make a comparison picture of the different shade of the two though both are #02 Natural Beige. I guess it's because the high SPF content in it.

At first, I was a bit surprised to see the lighter in color because the older one just matched me very well. But after applying, though it might a bit lighter but it blends to my skin nicely after a few minutes.

The texture is thinner that the previous one too. It is a bit easier to apply because of the texture though it gives the same light-medium coverage to my skin.

Other than that, this really smells refreshing! I noticed that the two CC cream doesn't smell the same which I prefer this newest version smell better because it lighten my mood..haha

The lasting hours is really good as it stays on my skin for about 8 hours, more or less. The finish is dewy but not much as the older one. I guess this is less dewy and it feels really light and non-sticky. The CC cream had a powdery finish to it.

Other than that, I notice for both of the CC cream, you must used the sponge provided because I try to use my fingers and it become cakey afterwards. And don't worry about the products content as the sponge is not the type that would absorb the product more than applying.

The product says this has a cooling effect. I'm not too sure of this because it doesn't feel like they put menthol in it but I would updated if I notice it next time.

  • Stays long about 8 hours (more or less)
  • Powdery finish ( a bit on the dewy side)
  • Non-sticky and feels really light
  • Nice refreshing fragrance. (Not overpowering which you would not notice after few minutes)
  • High SPF content
  • Maybe it's a bit lighter than my skin color?
  • Can't think of any..hehe

I really really love the CC cream :D
Well, you could even tell based from my review..hehe

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Clean Face Acne Solution Foam Cleansing & Oil-Free Control Essence

Hey there guys! I think I neglect this blog too much lately..sorry for that but I will blog more interesting post this coming weekend.. :)

Well, just to fill up the empty dates, I decided to post the review for this two products which I actually used up both of them for some time. This has been sitting in my draft for so long..o.o

As you might know, I don't have this super clean face because I'm acne-prone. One of the reason probably I don't really took care of my diet in terms of controlling oily food since I had this type of skin. Well, I can't really do anything about that since there are a lot of Malaysian food which are fried-based food..;(

So I bought these two items as my previous skincare(before these two) ran out. I usually switch my skincare after I finish up my current one..A lot of people will said that this is totally wrong which it can cause trouble skin but to be honest, my skin isn't like that. One person knows her skin the best right?

I can't stay with one skincare at a time because my skin is kind of creating this immune to one specific ingredients so they would not work for second time for me except the Etude House AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser. I didn't actually review this cleanser because I'm too lazy to review a single cleansing foam..haha but I actually bought this cleanser for three times after each tube finished up. It works great controlling pimples on my face until the third tube. I can see that on the third tube, my face became invulnerable towards the foam :(

Anyway, let's head on to the review :D

I know they may be a lot of you out there would be like.."oh god..why they have Paraben..." haha..
To be honest, I was shocked too but since I don't really google up ingredients before buying anything, well of course a part of it was my fault too..

Forget about the ingredients, just focus how it performs on me. Sorry that I don't have the picture of before and after for skincare because I lack of experience to review skincare better than make-up ..hehe..

The foam is really smooth, it lathers up quickly and it doesn't leave my face feels too dry or tighten up. In terms of performance, I can see that it controls my pimples well. I don't know how to say it specifically but I liked this cleanser very much. Of course my pimples still came out like usual but at least this helps me lessen them. For deep cleansing, I don't really sure because I don't have much problems with blackhead since I used the pore brush and the grits mostly came out when I used the Biore Cleansing Oil.

I never tried any essence before this one and this is probably the first and the last one I ever tried..Because there are too many skincare steps to follow and I'm just too lazy to follow the correct one.

My first try with this essence is the essence feels very minty though the 'Menthol' ingredient is not the first listed ingredient. My face feels a bit itchy when I apply this after I cleanse my face with the Clean Face Acne Solution Cleansing Foam. It is really hurt T_T

I thought I gonna stop wearing the Essence after that but to think that I actually spent a lot for these two and the essence is not that cheap either so I decided to keep trying. I tried this for second time on the next day and it's still hurt..;( So I thought maybe I scrub my face too hard during the cleansing time so the next day I try lessening the scrubbing work and woohooo..my face doesn't feel hurt at all when I apply the essence. It feels less minty too. Not sure if it is actually became more adapted to my face or......?

During the two months I try these Essence, it doesn't do much in terms on 'clean face'.
I can see the pimples popping out the next day after I start to use the Essence and it's not that normal small pimples either, it is those bigger one that hurts real bad...haha

Though I said that, that big pimples doesn't really came out everyday...(trying to make the essence name doesn't looks too bad) XD
It doesn't even lessening the bigger pimples from the previous day so I think this doesn't work on me. Probably it will to those who don't really have a serious pimples/acne problems.

Lastly, I have love-hate relationship with these too and this is totally my own opinion. It may works great on others so get the samples first and try them put before actually judging :D

Thanks for reading XD
I think I will prepare the giveaway next!Hope you guys will love it!
