[REVIEW] Etude House Color My Brows

I once said that I don't really have to wear brow colour or brow pencil for my brow coz it looks just fine but when I tried my first brow pencil last year, I realized that it was totally wrong. In fact, my brow look so messy when I did not use any brow pencil.

Etude House did released new colours for this brow colour but since they're more to light/coloured in colour, so I pass that. I have naturally dark hair so I'm gonna stick with dark coloured eyebrows too. This product colour is not the newest release but I just want to share :D

The instruction probably said to stroke your brow hair backwards to make sure all the hairs coated carefully then the second step, you brush them back properly to make it look proper.

The colour might not seems too dark here but it's enough to coloured my brow hair :D

I'm curious on how eyebrow colour would turn out on me because previously I thought that they're used to colour the brow hair permanently. It turns out that I was wrong..haha

I decided to try this brow colour from Etude House because Qoo10 did quite cheap sales for this so I just grab it without thinking further. It's sad that I actually bought one, I really should have bought more because this is really nice on my brow!

At first I thought that the colour is too brown for my eyebrow since I naturally had dark hairs but it gradually turn out nice later. The brush is really easy to use and it did not take much time to finish colouring the eyebrows. I could say that it did not need help from the brow pencil if you follow the instructions given because if you do, there's no sparse seen after applying.

This brow colour is pretty waterproof too. It did not budge if cleanse with tap water and furthermore, it stays on my brow for the whole day too. I'm not sure why this got the second place in Get It Beauty because personally I like it so much.

But I really prefer if Etude House can released a darker shade for the eye brow colour. It would look so much better on me or with girls that born with dark hair.

[REVIEW] Etude House Skin-fit Foundation

Last time I wondered why did I even included this foundation into my cart but then I realize that it was an impulse buy. haha. I wanted to buy the Face Conditioning Cream instead of this but it's okay, I'm quite happy that I bought this.

I always had problem with Etude House BB cream - they breaks me out except the older one, I mean the old old version..haha.. Because this is an impulse buy so I have to try it or it gonna be my mom collection of my unwanted cream because she don't have any problem with them. I've tried this for the past three days and it didn't breaks me out! yeayy~ 

I noticed that the smell of this foundation is different from Etude House usual BB product so I guess, I'm allergic to their fragrance after all?This has a more calming smell to it :)

There are two shades available for this foundation which is lesser than their previous released. I'm more to yellow colored skin, so I choose W13 but it's still a bit lighter than mine.

Compared to Etude House Precious Mineral Cotton Fit, this foundation is a bit moist and easier to spread and give a glow finish to my skin which I love.

The coverage is pretty amazing. I could say it has a medium coverage. It did correct my skin tone and cover the minor redness of my skin. If I need a bit of extra coverage, I would add few layers to the problem part and it would not looks cakey even after a few hours.

The oil control is pretty good too. Even though my skin will start oily after 3 hours, it doesn't mess up my make up and I just have to blot the oil. The cream doesn't easily disappear because it is hardly transfer.

Overall, I really love this foundation!

[REVIEW] Etude House Color Lips-Fit #PK002

Hello sweeties, I'll be reviewing this new Color Lips-Fit from Etude House which is recently launched in Korea :) I wanted to read others opinion for this lipstick before buying but since I did not found any so I decided to order this in Feb in color #PK002 Silhouette Fit Pink. The one that Sulli and Krystal wear is another color and I also purchased Sulli's color in PK003 last week so I'm excited to see how the turns out!

The packaging of Etude never fails in terms of its cuteness :)

The packaging is of course at the top. Etude House never fails in terms of making cutesy and princessy packaging :D

There are 6 in total of colors for this product and 1 top coat. I guess they're trying to imitate Clio lipnicure though..haha.. Most colors range from bright pink, subtle pink, coral to orange. I think that's the theme for Spring this year. I personally choose PK002 because based from swatches that I seen on youtube, the color is pretty and not too overboard.

It turns out that the color is very neon, you could see from above swatches. I don't think it would suit everyday wear because it was too bright. My first test is before I going to a wedding party and panicked when I saw the color is too bright. 

The lipstick dries matte. I actually expected this when I saw their launching ads but somehow the swatches on youtube is way different. It looks moist (?) TT.. I was tricked into buying so there you go, lip cracks and chapped lips starting to appear after a while and it looks so horrible ;(

Many suggest that to scrub your lips before wearing them and yes you can do that to remove chapped lips but it won't change the fact that it will turn nasty later.  I'm not sure how it turns after applying the top coat tho.

I can't really say that it is waterproof. The first time I put the swatches under the water, the color did not budge at all but when I touched it, I can see that it transfer the color to my finger. It smells like a strawberry candy and I think the smell is strong even after I put them on my lips.

Last but not least, I don't recommend anyone with dry lips like mine coz the lipsfit formula is just too horrible. It'll dry and cause uneven color and clumpy on the lips.

[REVIEW] Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum

Hi there!

I'm pretty excited for my first post after some time. It's not like I want to be in hiatus, it's just my college wifi took so much time to be functioned properly. Anyway, it's better now and today I'll be reviewing the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum. If you've read my winter haul post, you must be already know that I purchased this. I originally planned to wait for a month to review this but since it has already shown some positive effects and I can't continue to use this in the meantime because of my face treatment so I decided to review it now.

I was given a free box of the cotton. :D

The serum is transparent in color.

If you notice, the cotton had two sides, the one with the lines and the other side with the hole-like design. Both functioned differently as the hole side is used to remove dead skin and you'll used the other side to dab the rest of the serum in the cotton onto the face.

The bottle really reminds me of the very classic cafe so I decided to put a sepia-like picture for the header. 

It turns out pretty..haha (at least for me XD)

When the first time Skinfood released this product a while back, I thought why black sugar can be benefited to the skin? Isn't it just a brown sugar? That's what I really thought back then coz I never heard about the black sugar before so I just assume that it is a brown sugar. 

For your information, black and brown sugar are two different things, basically Black sugar is more popular in countries like Taiwan and Japan. The black sugar is said to be more healthier than brown sugar because it contain so many minerals and the people in those countries used them as the period pain reliever. You can read more here.

Regarding the above statement that I said I had to stop using this serum for a while because of the skin treatment I did, it is because the doctor advice me not to use any kind of product which had an acid ingredient (it is not the acid that could burn your skin).

Right after Skinfood released this serum, it has be the most best selling product of their product. I saw a few reviews of this product before but many of them is not in depth review so I decided to try it out myself.

The above picture is not edited except adding on some words on the picture and cropped the eye part for better view (sorry for the moist looking face coz I wore my cream in both pictures..haha)

I was surprise after using this for a week, I can see that my face is a lot glowy and brighter looking. I always had a dull skin after a long day because it's hot here and I wore make up to class. This serum really helps to improve my skin and I also noticed that it lessen my oily face especially when I wore my make up for a long time. 

I experience a bit of itchiness for my first time with this serum but it doesn't happen after the second time.I guess maybe I over scrubbed my face before that so that's why it feels like that.

The cotton that came with the serum really a lot of help. I think it is a great invention coz I used both sides to apply the serum. The hole sides really helps removing the dead skin especially when I'm too lazy to use the face brush while cleansing my face.

There is a pleasant smell of this serum which disappeared after a while. Not sure if it is the black sugar smell or other ingredients.

Other than that, the serum is non sticky, moisturising enough for me and absorbs really fast! I'm loving this overall.
