[REVIEW] A'pieu Magic Pore Cover Balm

Hello dearies,

 It's really closed until I entered a new semester and that's means there is going lesser postings. But no worries, I'll make sure my blog will still be alive coz I planned to post one blog post every 3 days. Just pray that I would make it..hehe

Today I'll be reviewing this pore cover balm from A'pieu which also can be known as primer or base make up. You can use this before applying your bb/cc/ foundation.

Since they did not provide an English description so I got this from testerkorea.

Sorry for the different background color. I'm also not sure why it changed..lol

Sponge is given and the balm is covered with a transparent lid.

Too bad the balm is dust-catcher.

I bought this balm after reading so many good review about it. This balm looks small but this gonna last for a long time since I don't have to use a lot for each applies. For people who had dry skin, there is another Magic Pore Pore Cover Balm in pink case.

I like how they include a sponge along with the balm and fit in this little case. The first time I opened the lid, the smell already lingers and it smells really good. I do smelled this somewhere but I don't remember what it is.

The balm looks slightly green in the case but it is transparent in colour once applied onto my face. My first experience with this is not good because I'm too excited to try so I applied too much on face making it slightly greasy..but I learnt my lesson so I only applied enough amount on my face now. It amazes me on how much smooth and light it feels on face. When I touch my face, it feels really smooth and almost powdery.It even covers my pores flawlessly.By the way, I don't experience any breakout from using this

One thing that it kinda brings this down probably the ability to control oil. My face doesn't feel much different even after I applied this because I still can see that my face is as oily as much as they do. Other than that, I also dislikes the fact that the balm itself is a dust-catcher. You could probably see it in the above picture that there is some dust on the balm.

Overall, I love the thing that this balm covers my pores and it makes the application of my make up smoother and cleaner. Too bad that it doesn't perform much on controlling oil. I would have rated this as perfect if it does perform on oily skin. Anyway,this is only my opinion. Different product works on different people.

Update : I know I have to say this but this balm does works sometimes! Not sure why but these days when I used this as a base, I can see my oily face is lessen and if the oil does came out, it feels powdery on face. Seriously, I really do love this sometimes!

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Face It Velvet Skin Primer

Hi ,

So I decided to review this primer which I have for quite a while. I saw this was crowned No.1 in "Get It Beauty" blind test so I decided to try it out.

I still love my Banila co primer but sometimes a change of pace is not wrong right? After all I'm a beauty junkie so I can't be satisfied by just trying a product for a long time.

By the way, I got this with a box but not sure where did I put it or it was mistakenly trashed so no boxy-piccies. (For ingredients, you may look up to other blogger reviews, they did put the ingredients picture from the box)

It came with a pump.

Instead of writing the manufacturing date, they did otherwise. In fact, I like this better.

Can be used 12 months after opening. Someone tell me what PET means?

The product is a transparent gel type. 

Partial blending. Because it is transparent so it's hard to notice.

This primer will create a soft smooth skin after applied and I use it to cover my pores especially on cheekbone, nose, forehead and chin. That way, my foundation will glides easily without looking bumpy.

Although the primer claimed that it is best for oily skin, it does because the finish is soft matte but in terms of oil control, I guess it doesn't do much. I did blot frequently to get rid of the oil from my skin.

The texture is transparent gel type and it is very light on skin. I have no experience in breaking out while using this.

There is a faint flowery powder smell to it which smells really pleasant. It wasn't over the top for me because I always love something that smells good.

Price is reasonable. I got this for about RM30-RM40 somewhere is between. As I remembered, it is cheaper than Banila co primer.

One 30g tube last me for so long. I think it has been about 4-5 months now and I still have a very little product left.

It is a worth try if you're looking for something that could cover up pores without breaking out your skin but if you're looking for oil control primer, I guess this is not for you. I already bought a new primer from another brand so I'll be trying that after I finished this up.

[REVIEW] Banila co. Prime Primer #Classic Matte

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack updates in my blog.

It's because I'm partially busy + lazy. Spending lots of time study and playing games or just be a silent reader of some beauty blogs..lol

After my friend said yesterday that I haven't post anything in my blog, makes me realize I shouldn't do that. It's because we have a three days of days off so I took the chance to write one plus it's raining here and it makes me feel happy.. :)

Anyway, today I'll be reviewing my most favorite make-up primer ever that is Banila co Prime Primer in Classic Matte. Well, this is basically isn't new to those who knows Banila co. It's been around since 2010 , I think and it was the bestseller in Korea. In 2011, this primer is crowned as the best seller in Japan which is considered a big deal. They added a lot of version since then based on the skin type/skin problem.

I look around since these past years for this but ebay just sell them too expensive! As I remembered, the first time I found this on ebay, the price is about RM89+ . I thought it was too expensive and I never tried the samples so I'm afraid it would not work as expected.

Just recently qoo10 start operating, I saw a seller selling this with quite a cheap price!They have sales going on that time and I think this is about RM39+. That's A LOT of difference from the ebay price.

However, only two types were available with the seller, which is hydrating and classic matte and it was just right because I'm targeting the classic matte ver!

 I think because it is duty free so the price is lower?

 Too bad everything is in Korean language :(

 I thought the bottle looks cheap at first..haha..

 Come in a dispenser pump which is very convenient for me.

I don't know how to describe the texture but it is somewhere milky and moist. I love the way that the primer feels so light on face and it smoothen out my skin before wearing make-up.

I had quite a lot of dry patches because of the cleanser I used but my skin is really oily. This primer is just right for me because it doesn't feel oily and it preps my skin so beautifully and cover the pores.

It smells florally but not too strong. It is just right plus I love everything that smells good!

It's white in color but it dries clear. I used this almost my entire face because every parts of my face needs primer to control the oil. As far as I used this for almost two months, I saw that the primer really helps my make-up stays longer on face and it controls my sweat too.

Since it is so hot here like almost 35C everyday, I do sweat a lot and sometimes it just bothers me because I can't even wear my make-up longer because it is easy to spoilt. The primer just help controlling the sweat but I don't really say that it clog the pores. I don't have any breakouts of using this so no worries :)

Ok what else? I don't know what to say anymore but I love everything about this primer. Needs to stock up soon coz I'm running out of it :D

[REVIEW] Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base in #03 Peach

Sorry that I haven't got much time to write any new post these days because I was in a critical stress mood..

Because I stressed too much, so my skin were in bad condition coz the pimples broke out, terrible dark circles coz less sleep..lol

 But it improved a bit since I pat lots of the skincare and wore the nicest mask I had :)

On the last Monday, I received this cutie and tried it right away~

I think the delivery days is okay since I received it about 2 weeks after the order and the seller even gave me two sheets of collagen mask from Nature Republic. Since I had those mask already, I decided to give that away to my friends :D

As you might know, Sweet Recipe is the latest collection from Etude House featuring the new model which are Sulli and Krystal but I actually bought this because it looks tasty :D

I hesitate to choose between the green or peach color at first but I decided to take the peach color instead since I'm afraid the green color will turn me into something else so I better not taking any risk.

I love the cute packaging and the base itself is placed a glass jar :D

Although it is not travel friendly because the glass jar might be heavy.

The first thing that I notice about this base is the smell!Of course, since I love nice smell, I'm surely looking forward to the smell. This smells like baby and peach!But when you spread it, I seems to notice that it has a sweet cookies smell too. Most of my friend didn't notice that sweet cookies smell so that maybe just me. I really love the smell. I felt like eating my own face..lol

The texture of the base is a bit gel-like. It's hard to blend especially with fingers.

The first time I put this on my face, I had trouble blending in the color with my face because it looks too white!Though I took minutes onto blending them, but the color still won't budge and so I remembered that i watched a Sweet Caster video by Etude House which the model used a sponge to blend the base. I took my  vibration sponge and poof, the color blends so well! So I really recommend you to use sponge to blend this base :D

For color, I'm a bit disappointed since there are only 3 shades available. Although this peach color supposed to match any yellow undertone skin but I find it still too white for my skin. So thanks to my foundation, I be able to fix the color to match my true skin tone(and of course I don't meant to wear the base alone)

One thing that I love about this base is it makes my skin so smooth and cover my dry patches. I have an oily skin but sometimes using skincare(for acne) which had drying properties can dry some places on my face and it will make my foundation flaky.So this base helps me out a ton because the gel-like texture doesn't dry up and gives some moisture I guess.

I could say that my make-up last longer by wearing this base. My current foundation can hold up about 3-4 hours but with the help of this base, it can last up to 6 hours on my face :D

I got this for a cheaper price, about RM29+ but the seller raise up the price later and now the list is gone. So I might not be able to share with you the link which I got this base from..gomen..I guess I'm lucky though..haha XD

I'm wearing the base make-up, there are still red spots seen.

The base has oxidized on my face so I think it looks better after it oxidizes.

Etude House Sales Haul~♥

I still in the mood of holiday and it's hard to do anything else besides relax..relax and relax..

and I really thought I don't have anymore money to spend on cosmetics in this 2-3 months but I lost in temptation(I actually saving the money for something else..ehemm..concert..ehemm..)

This all started when my relatives always ask me where did I buy my cosmetics..what did I use..how they can use make-up like me..etc..etc..(and I almost be their make-up artist on the first day of Raya since all of them asked me to do their make-up)

My sister wanted to buy eye shadow for Raya so she asked me to recommend her pretty colors that suit her skin and so we went to Etude House,coz I tell her that I EH got sales at the moment..

The worst thing,I did go along with her and of course I did grab some for me too!..But the best thing is that I can control myself from buying too much..lol

So here are the item I spent my money on

I only bought 3 items.The rest are the samples.

I don't know if this item is still in production or they've discontinued this but I only get this for RM10.Cheap~!♥

 The color is in "10 Million Pixel Pink" which have pink,yellow and champagne colors in one.

 The 2 eyeliner colors that I wanted to have so bad.

I'm so into brown color right now becoz of Ekimura..^_^

and I actually wanted to get the Nyx one for the white color but haven't got chance to do so.

The Proof 10 Auto Pencil is expensive!I think it is just the same with other eyeliner just it is attached with sharpener and that makes this eyeliner expensive.I really thought the price was around RM29+ when I took it but when the counter shows RM39+..but thank god the color is so nice and this is easy to handle with~

For the milk talk samples,they actually gave a kit of that body wash with a cute pinky box but my sister wanted to have it so I took one from the kit since I love the choco scent.

[REVIEW]Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

Hi~!This is my second post for today!Yeah..I wanna flood this blog with reviews everyday!haha..

Anyway,I got this foundation primer from Nicole's Mirror blog when she held a giveaway last year~I think I have this for quite long though and I've keep this picture for so long too..lol

I was happy when they wrote an oil free primer but I didn't test it on blotting paper..awww..I'm sorry..I totally forgot about that..

I remember that I wear this quite few times back in the days where I used BB cream every single day..I would say that this is easy to apply and spread and it is a glossy type..

Besides that,this is dried quite fast so don't worry about the texture because it absorb quite good and doesn't leave a sticky feeling plus it makes my skin smoother.Although the color is white but it dries transparent.

But what I don't like the most about this primer is it doesn't have a good oil control and the smell was so terrible..like a burn metal?Seriously,the smell makes me wanna throw up..lolol..
