[REVIEW] Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in #RD301 #OR202

Hi guys!hehe :D

So my second parcel of Sweet Recipe arrived today and it is the Etude House Sweet recipe Cupcake All Over Color in #RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake and #OR202 Peach Sugar Cake. How lovely is that name?(though it is super long one!lol)

This is the second product which I've been eyeing since the Sweet Recipe launch and yes, I bought two of them because it's cheap and has many functions :D

Firstly I wanna say that I'm really disappointed at the promotional picture. As you can see, the promo pics shows that this is more Mousse-ly like but it is totally different in real. The texture is almost like a lip balm with had similarity with the SHINI Star, Bee etc..although it's not exactly the same. 

  The raspberry had a sheer pinky-red color tint whilst the peach one is more like pigmented side of peach color.Among these two, I find the peach color is the to hard to put on because it always sunk into my lip lines and makes me looks sick :( although both had the same texture and very moisturizing.

 I expected this multi-type product would had a sweet bakery smell like the Baby Choux Base but I find the smell is almost similar to Etude House lip balm. :( So it's nothing new although it smells fruity and sweet..

I could say that the color last pretty long for me and I usually used them on lips and cheek~

and maybe won't wear this on eyes because the color might crease pretty bad on my oily eyelid..

Out of the two, I pick raspberry as my favorite because I love the color and it makes my lips looks livelier.

[REVIEW] Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Powder & Heart Blusher in PK001 Pink Petal Kiss

Hi guys! Hopefully everything went fine today~ :D

The pictures somehow makes me admire them more~

This is my third post for the Princess Etoinette and hopefully the last post for this collection.

Taking pictures is so hard and tiring but I enjoy every single minute I spent to get a great angle :D

I received the whole collection for this Princess Etoinette about the end of the last year, means the review was delayed until today because I'm finding a good time to do the reviews :)

The whole collection itself make into the top Korean beauty products after it was released, probably the packaging or maybe the theme itself that attracts all the girls thirst for them and not excluded me of course ~

Some bloggers are even comparing this collection popularity with Les Merveillleuses de Laduree which makes me found a rose petal-like brush for the top search and that seriously makes me drool for second..lol

Compared to that brand, Etude House is way more cheaper and I don't think I could afford Laduree anytime soon..

Let start off with ;

Etoinette Heart Blusher in PK001 Pink Petal Kiss~
i loooove the name! hehe :D

This is what it looks like when you open the Heart Blsuher~

Basically the 'hearts' is separated from the case too maintain the shape?Because it find the hearts are really soft!

Fluffy sponge with kawaii ribbon :D

Although the container seems large but the quantity of the blush isn't 

that much, so I guess all the money went to the packaging..lol 

The blush itself had little sparkles with them but for me, I don't think the glitters are much visible~
There are 3 colors of the hearts, shimmery white, medium pink and bright pink. The white shimmer is too add highlights on your cheeks. The pink colors are subtle and not really bright for few swipes but the color is buildable. I love when it is looks sweet rather than too pigmented on cheeks because it will looks unnatural.

I would say that the blush colors stays on my cheek for 7-8 hours despite my skin condition which is oily :D
Definitely love the lasting hours :D

I rarely used the fluffy sponge but it's not too bad to use it. I find some other might dislikes using the sponge but I myself think that it was okay since it gave the same application as I used my blush brush.

There is no hearts refill if you finish them coz Etude House don't sell them individually but I don't think I ever finish this since I only use a bit of blush or never. But if you do finish them up, I guess its not wrong to have them as a pretty decoration on your make-up table.It's worth it!hehe :D

I think it is pretty expensive for a blusher but it's okay since I admire the packaging so it's no biggie.!tehee :D
There is another shade available that is orange color so you might have to google it..kk

Etoinette Crystal Powder

did you see the sparkles?Sorry if it is not really visible in this picture :(

I fell in love with this lacy design sponge and the reason why I bought this powder is because this sponge too..

This powder is very similar to a compact that Avon released long time ago when I was a kid. My mom used to buy me a glitter powder compact from Avon but I don't remember the name nor I don't think Avon had such powder yet. The similar thing that I'm talking about is the glitter in the powder.When I first apply this on my face, I said, "woooh, I looks like a twilight vampires long distance relative"kkk

It's because the glitter is visible when you look up closed but it won't be visible from afar :D

The lasting power for this powder is really awesome since Etude House create new technology which are sebum absorption and moist coating powder.How cool is that? :D I can that it stays on my face for the whole day~

Compared using the powder brush, I prefer using the sponge provided! I felt like it spreads evenly on face and makes my make-up more glowy than using brush..I don't know why but every time I used the brush, my face always look whiter and I don't like that..

The shade available is only one and I think this suit all skin types since it is a loose powder :D

I got this for RM61.60 after discount :D

The actual price is actually similar with the heart blusher but I got 10% off for this~hehe :D

I used photoshop to blur the background(only!) because it's too ugly on the back and I spent 4 hours to do that!lol

That was the first time I ever use photoshop and finally I did it..I won't ever use it again..hahaXD

I used both powder and blusher but I think the powder didn't show that well on pictures.

Pardon my dark circles and all the blemishes. I know my skin is not perfect..so don't zoom please..lol

[REVIEW] Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips #PPK003 #POR202

First of all, I would say thank you to you for reading this post.

I'm sure there are many reviews out there for this lipstick~

This is my second post for the Etoinette Collection and I'm so excited!

I even edited a header picture..lol ( although I only use an online photo editor..)

Before the review, I wanna say that please pardon the pictures.

It seems more like gothic rather than princessy..haha XD

I love the detailed designs!

Do you see that??omg..that was the cutest lipstick packaging ever!

The swatches on my hands.

The colors are very sheer and it is really different from the Etude House Dear My 

Blooming Lips-talk where the colors are more pigmented. 

Because the colors aren't that pigmented, I find the lipstick suits my everyday look more.

It looks more natural on lips so young girl can wear this on them without looking older.

Other than that, I noticed that this lipstick had a different scent from the other Etude lippies I ever tried.

I could say that the smell is a rosey scent which is not too overwhelming and very aromatic.

Besides that, this lipstick had a very little glitters which you can't really see in the pictures because my lipstick doesn't have much glitters compared to the other reviews I read. It's weird but that's what I see.

The lipstick itself is very moisturizing compared to the other Etude lipsticks. I felt like I'm wearing this lipstick alone would be enough without the help of my lip balm.

The staying hours could be around 2-3 hours because the texture is very liquidy but it depends on whatever you do. It could be easily disappear if you eat or drink. After disappearing, you could worry less because the remaining color won't stick on your lips because it could be either dries or just disappear along.

My ratings for the design could be 100% the prettiest and the cutest designs I ever seen. Their motives are to make the girls feel like a princess and that's what I felt too :D

Unfortunately this lipstick is sold in limited to overseas and I'm not sure if all 

Etude House in all countries do sell this. 

The lipstick priced RM37.30 each with discount when I bought this online. 

The price are more cheaper compared to the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk 

when it first launched. Just to note that you have to find the right seller because some sellers are 

charging too much but some sells really cheap!

[REVIEW] The Lilac Box - Valentine's Blind Date

I'm so excited to review my first ever subscription box named The Lilac Box also is their debut box with the "Valentine's Blind Date" theme :D

Towards the end of the last year, I saw many subscription box company started to introduce their own in Malaysia and I wasn't particularly interested since I think the brands are too 'meh' and some of them include the brands that I'm not going to try for sure.

I saw some of other blogger posted about the Lilac Box on their blog and I noticed that this company works with most of the brands that I was really really interested in!Though at the time I still think that I won't subscribe to them.

Although I wasn't particularly cared the most about this box, I did follow up with some of their updates on Facebook since they did not officially launched the box at the time.Then one day I saw their post about the new debut box has started to sell, I immediately ordered the box without much thinking. One of the reason could be that the price is cheaper than any other subscription boxes I know!(err..ok I know some of the cheaper ones now but I'm not interested with their featured brands)

So finally the box arrived exactly before the Chinese New Year holiday started!yeay!

The box is wrapped with another box in the delivery to make the original box safer on looks~

• Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte - Daily, reconstructing shampoo for weakened and very  damaged hair.
• Kerastase Ciment Anti-Usure - Daily conditioner to strengthen weakened to very damaged hair.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner for two days and I really like them. I'm a sucker for a nice smell and I actually smelled them before using it. My first impression is that the shampoo doesn't really smells good. However, the aftermath was the opposite since after I rinsed them off, I noticed that I smelled something good that came from my hair. The smells is really lovely and I love it. That's why people said, don't judge the book by its cover.. :D

Considering that this is for weaker to very damaged hair, I'm not really disappointed but I prefer more on the hair care for the hair loss since I had a hair fall problem. Although it's not a very big problem but I wanted to at least lessen it up so I don't grow bald when I'm old..lol ( but does weaker  hair is in the same group as the hair loss?)

Nevertheless, I still love this shampoo and conditioner because it made my hair smells really good and make it really smooth :D

• Decleor Aroma Cleanse Fresh Purifying Gel -  Fresh Purifying Gel transforms on contact with water into a gentle, light foam thanks to peppermint water. Skincare with Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, which purifies the skin and regulates sebum.
• Decleor Aroma Cleanse Mattifying Lotion - This Fresh Mattifying Lotion with Papaya Extract and mattifying powders completes cleansing.
• MaxFactor Limited Edition Nailfinity in Boji.

I've tried once for the Decleor samples and it's was okay.Not too overwhelming which I may think to buy the full size but it was okay since it provides moisture with calming aroma. The purifying gel is more to water like and it gives minty feel to my skin after use whilst the mattifying lotion provides moisture to my skin :D 

Both of them are very light on skin so to those who had an oily skin like me who wish to try these products could have less worries since it doesn't make my face looks like it can fried an egg after using this.

For the MaxFactor nail polish, honestly I'm not the into nail polishes so I have no info about them and I think I might do a giveaway since I had another nail polish unused :D . One thing that I can comment on this is the color is really nice. It gives a hint or medium tone of burgundy-purple color.

• Roberto Cavalli Perfumed Body Lotion

Sexy and gorgeous~

If you ask me for my most favorite products among all, it would be this body lotion by Roberto Cavalli. The first time I opened the tube, I immediately falling in love with the smell although it's not really a 'young' smell but more to grown up woman who could be around 22-30 years old. When I smelled it, I could imagine a hardworking office worker woman.lol

Only just for a few drop, I can cover up my hands until the palm for the smell :D . The smell stays on my skin very well although I wash my hands frequently and I still can smell it. The lotion itself is very light, non-sticky and makes my skin super smooth and smells really good. :DD

I might consider buying the full size or even the perfume set ( ^ _ ^)∠☆

• Burberry Beauty Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base.

I don't exactly read the name before I'm using it because I initially thought it was a base with beige color.When I opened the base, my first thought, "ahhh..this is similar to aura nymph by Etude House"

because the texture on the first look was very similar. I started to think that I might dislike this as I dislike the aura nymph. The reason why I dislike this type of glow base is because I had an oily skin and it would make my face looks like I was splashing with the cooking oil plus it would messed up my make-up totally. However, I convinced myself to try them yesterday because I don't wanna such high end brands samples went to waste. Surprisingly, my original thought went wrong when the fluid base was very light and sheer. It doesn't feel heavy on skin and the the fluid itself almost like water, not the same type as the aura nymph. It blends really well with my foundation and I even had some left from the first sample because it covered up my entire face with just a little of it. Please refer to my full make-up face at the end of the post :3

The fluid base had a very light to sheer in color so it suits all skin colors :D

*sigh* since I'm not living in KL, it would be hard for me to use any of these voucher so I find they both are mostly useless. Though one of them are available in Mid Valley which is the easiest access to me but I still don't have time to travel to KL just to use this coupon ( although I really want to try them at least once! )

Overall, I was pleased for most of the goodies they've included in this box because you can never get the same price as this if you buy them directly. :)
