[REVIEW] Majolica Majorca Linehunter Eyeliner #BK999

Hello~
I managed a bit of my time to post a new review. Recently, I wanted to try more Japanese cosmetics than the Korean ones so I made a few purchases on the Japanese cosmetics that I encountered while randomly google-ing. I always wanted to try MM eyeliner (the twist one) but never got chance to do so and I saw these Linehunter collection that were released quite early this year if I'm not mistaken and the seller on ebay got this up on sale so I bought this right away.. :D

I heard that this collection have made it to Malaysia but my recent visit to a few MM counter in Watsons, I didn't saw this yet. Probably the the MM counter in KL or big cities would have this collection.

MM packaging never fails me, it is mystery yet looks so gorgeous, I'm a packaging sucker and I know it..haha

Mine is black in colour.

Those are manufacturing date and expired date I guess.

This liner pen is super slim! A lot slimmer than my pen, lol

I just love love the design~

Actually I don't realize this before this review but the eyeliner brush have two sides with this, which is the slimmer and wider part. Slimmer part is for thin eyelining and the wider part is for thicker eyeline. I just realize than I used the slim part a lot more than the wider part because the thickness is just right for my eyes.
If compared to other eyeliner that I had tried, eg; Dolly Wink, Skinfood, 3CE, the brush for this eyeliner is much more thinner than them. The wide part is comparable but the slim part is definitely thin.

Not the prettiest swatch I ever done ;(

Not the best eyeliner I ever done too.. Just to show here that the eyeliner able to draw the thinnest line on eyes.

I know you'll ask this question so I just tell you that I bought this from ebay. The seller name is kelly3316. Priced at RM39.40 exclude postage. Do note that the postage is not that high either (RM9.14) and it only took 1 and half week to arrive to me and I consider that is very fast coz I usually got my package from Japan or Hong Kong about three weeks.

The first time I tested the eyeliner on my hand, I thought the colour is not very black however later then when I try it again my eyes, it looks like very black in colour. The brush able to draw two types of eyeline, very thin to the thickest because of the unique brush that was designed to have two parts.

The brush is soft and so easy to use. Not a twist type this time from MM.
Because the brush have two parts, it ease me up with drawing the inner corner with the thinnest eyeline and also the thin cat eyes eyeline. No glitter and weird smell from this eyeliner.

The liquid dries pretty fast and I don't have to wait until it dries. However the negative side of this eyeliner is that it is not waterproof. I've read the other blogger review and they said that it is waterproof but how it is not the same as mine? I rubbed it right away after it dries and it smudges and under water it disappears. But although it smudges when I rubbed it, I'm pretty surprised that it don't smudges on my eyes after a whole day. Just it disappears on some part because it is not waterproof.

Overall, aside from the eyeline is not waterproof, I like everything about it. It's so easy to hold and use because it is small and it's perfect to bring anywhere with.

Thank you for reading :)
See you next time for another review coming up!

[REVIEW] Candy Doll Cheek Color Duo

It feels so long for me to buy any Japanese Cosmetics! I always liked gyaru styles and Tsubasa Masuwaka were quite popular in Popteen magazine which I used to read (though I don't understand a word) but now I don't really buy any Popteen mags because of the inconsistency availability of the magazine in the bookstore I always dropped by.

Anyway, I came across this new blusher from Candy Doll. I knew that they came out with this new product but I never thought I would find this at HiShop when I browsed their site. Since I had accumulated points that I've kept ever since working with them, I used all of it to buy this blusher..haha.Well, I did paid a little more for this but it's worth it when I have to spend a little for this.

Pink for cheeck color and light purple for highlight.

Candy Doll products cuteness never fails me.

There is a reflection of light from the cover glass so it forms white streak there. Sorry, I didn't notice that.

This is a light swatches of the blusher using my fingers. The colour is much pigmented when using brush.

Like other products produced by Tsubasa Masuwaka, this blusher doesn't have any scent with it and it's fine by me but I would prefer a nice scent since I'm a scent lover. :)

What I love the most is the packaging. Tsubasa is going for more and more otona look but I like that she's still keeping her design cute as ever. There's older version of this blusher which looks a bit plain and I think this new packaging is better. I don't have the picture of the old one but Google may assist you..haha

For this new version, she's going for duo type blusher consist of highlighter and cheeck colour. Honestly, the marshmallow purple did not do much for my medium skin tone but it might works for someone's fairer. I usually just mix it up with the cheek colour and it doesn't effect anything but maybe adding a bit glitter to the pink colour because the marshmallow purple consist a bit of glitter as you can see in the swatches picture.

The strawberry pink colour is very pigmented and I had to be careful for not to overly applied. When I applied it lighter onto my cheek, it tends to get redder than it supposed to be. I'm not sure why but most blusher that I bought, no matter what colour it is, red, pink, purple or peach, it would turn redder. Probably because my cheek is naturally flushed that it makes the colour turns out like that (although I cover it with creams/foundations/bb). Then, I found out that applying it a little more from I always do makes the colour pops out pink with this blusher.

The texture of the blush is soft and it doesn't have much difference with any normal blushers. Probably because it is imported and created by someone famous made the price is a bit high (RM59). As far as I know, this brand are only sold in the drugstore Japan, but it's a high quality so I don't mind :D

The actual cheek colour are way pigmented than in the picture. Perhaps the lighting makes it looks subtle. I used both marshmallow purple and strawberry pink which the purple goes on my cheekbone and the pink is at the bottom.I apologized for the somehow "sad" looking face. I'm not photogenic so I always look awkward in pictures.

Overall, it's a nice blusher and I think that I should work in a way that the light purple would works on me..haha

I rate this :

[REVIEW] New 2013 Candy Doll Lipstick in Pink Grapefruit

Previously I posted the full collection of the new Candy Doll products by Tsubasa Masuwaka as you can see here. I'm falling in love with one of the lipstick color that is Pink Grapefruit which is a bit peachy orange pink in color based on the promo pictures.

So I asked Princess Monogatari shop if they're selling this and they did! I was very happy since no other online Japanese cosmetics shops are accepting this order yet at the time. It cost me RM64 including postage(postage is RM8). It's quite pricey for a lipstick.

I ordered this on March 6 and this arrived to me on June 7, that's about 3 months because there are few problems which the seller received the wrong color from Japan and she had to re-order it again.

I think the new Candy Doll design is looking too mature? Probably because Tsubasa also is near to her thirty..?

The design looks like something my mom would use..haha

1x is one time swatch and 4x is four swatches.
Still, the color doesn't looks much different in different swatches.

I don't use any lip concealer and this is just the lipstick swatch. I'm surprised that it is almost sheer in color whilst the promo pictures look like it would give something opaque. I guess Tsubasa is using lip concealer before applying the lipstick and lipgloss too. (That's cheating!lol)

The color is a bit different than the promo picture because the real swatch would give something like more nude peach pink than peachy orange pink. It's not too sheer but it would give an ugly looking lip if my lip is chapped if I applied for a few times. So I really recommend you to scrub your lips before applying this lipstick.

Another thing that I noticed is the lipstick settle into my lip lines. The streaks are visible enough to make it looks uneven even though the formula is quite moisturising and doesn't feel heavy on lips. However, the long lasting of the lipstick is quite bad. It would disappear in an hour of applying and it removes easily with water. So if I need to reapply this again if I do drink or eat.

You can opted of wearing lip concealer underneath to show up the color better. I don't wear any concealer because my lips is quite dry and chapped so that would just makes it looks worse. Other than that, this lipstick doesn't have any smell like most of Tsubasa's product.

Overall, this lipstick is just not for me, the color is pretty although it was different than the promo pic but the texture just doesn't captured me. I can find better lipstick with this price :)

[REVIEW] IMJU Opera Mylash Lengthening Mascara

Hi guys!
This time I'll be reviewing another mascara that I own. I bought this in 2 months back after reading review and raves. I actually not really sure if this mascara is one the Fiberwig collection coz some reviews are saying that it is but some did not mention this at all.

Anyway, I got mine from ebay since Japanese products, especially Fiberwig is hard to find in online shop and the only shop that sells this mascara in Malaysia is SaSa. As I mention SaSa, you probably know how much they'll charge you for this.. XD

I actually decided to buy the Fiberwig instead but I read some of the reviews said that it clumps easily plus I have a bit of sensitive eyes so I'm afraid the fiber from the mascara will fall into my eyes and cause tears and redness..haha

Would you become younger from this? :D

 Love the brush~ :D

Very black and non-drying formula.

Urm..sorry for the tired looking eyes, this pictures were taken back then when I finished my final exam. My skin is really dry especially under eyes and my eyeballs easily become red..

As you can see, my eyelashes doesn't have much volume to it because the mascara is specialized in lengthening. The brush itself is very important is separate my lashes and it produce no clump. No matter how many coat you did, the mascara won't clump on your lashes.

Beside that, I love the non-drying formula which makes my lashes moist. Because of it is a non-drying formula, the mascara do not have flakes or fall outs. Some of other drying type mascara makes my lashes feels rough and flaky.

This mascara is a waterproof type but it easily came off with warm water. It doesn't smudge although I've an oily eyelid.

I love the part where this mascara holds up my curl or specifically do curls for me. As you see in the above picture, I didn't used any lash curler at all.It simply curled up by using this mascara.

The only downside of this mascara that it doesn't gives volume to my lashes. The sparse between the lashes looks visible and I dislike that. But if I would go for a natural look, this mascara is the best for that.

Anyway, thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] KOSE Sekkisei Lotion and KOSE Seikisho Mask White

So at the end of last year until a week ago, I was obsessed over whitening skincare. Though I rarely posted about skincare here because I think I'm not good enough in terms of skin care..haha
I stopped about few days ago because one of my blog reader told me that whitening skincare can exaggerate my acne-prone skin because whitening skincare contains the harsh ingredients..oh well, she's right. I was obsessed with whitening skinc are because I gave up of searching the right skin care for my acne-prone skin..so I'm looking for another alternatives that could work better..lol

Anyway, after reading reviews and suggestions, I found this whitening skincare under the KOSE brands which is said works really good on most of skin. Because this brand is more to high-end brand that could hit hundreds or 1k for the whole skincare, I decided to just try out the samples which I bought from eshoppingstrawberry. They carried a lot of high-end brand with them so you might want to check them out. In terms of price, I suggest you not to ask me since I don't know the store price compared to them since I never used any high-end brand before..hehe

I think KOSE had another collection of whitening skincare which I'm not sure what was the name of the collection so google if you want to know..lol

So here are the two picture of the full sized products of promo pictures I found for the samples that I tried because the samples packaging may not look the same as samples but there aren't much difference actually.

KOSE Sekkisei Lotion

KOSE Seikishio Mask White

the cute samples I bought..it cost me bucks though..

The mask white on my face since I don't take much picture..

The lotion samples lasts about 4 times for me and 3 times for the mask white.I'm not sure why it was called mask white because the color is dark blue.

The lotion has a very slight blue tint to the liquid and it smells like herbs. I used not too like strong smell of herbs but I guess I kinda like this smell..It feels very light on face and I think there is a bit of cooling sensation to it. I love this lotion because it makes my face less oily :)

For the mask white, I would say that it works really really well with whitening properties with just one used. Probably it is a peel off type that it removes my whiteheads and blackheads along with it and then it makes my face looks brighter. It is really thick and it is so hard spread but I guess that was a peel off mask should be like. The mask itself is hurt a little bit when I remove it probably it is because I left the mask for too long and that makes the mask is drier than it should be. One thing I wanna say that you shouldn't apply this mask around your eye area coz it's gonna be freaking hurt that I actually cried..lol

Overall, I really love both of the products that I've tried. For repurchasing, I mean the full size one..I might have to think of my money first..lol but if you do have the money, why not try them? It's worth it if you love whitening skincare.

I'm currently is starting my acne/oily skin skincare routine all over again and thanks to Yue Rain for the advice you shared with me. It is really helpful :D

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] Fuwarinka Rose Softcandy by Kracie

So last time I posted my haul from NattaCosme which sells a lot of Japanese product
range from cosmetics and supplements.

So start off with the product introduction~
[Product description] Often described as beauty candy, these delicious soft chewable candies use real rose extracts to deliver an accurate flavor. Contains Collagen, Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid; all ingredients that have been found beneficial for your skin. Foil re-sealable pack ensures freshness.
[Content] This package contains about 12 dual-layered soft candies.
[Weight] 32grams.

I read few reviews for this candy before this and most of them saying that the candy is overly perfume-y when you eat them but I suppose it is normal? Since I love candies so much, I thought that smell and taste is normal? It really smells like rose when I eat them and the chewy inside the candy taste really good but at the same time it might be too much for some people.

I only eat a ball for the first day and I noticed that I smells good? though originally I thought it was body soap smells but when I sniff my hands for a few times I realize that it wasn't my body soap smell. I notice that I smell sweet, not sure what was the smell but I enjoy sniffing it..lol..although it is a very slight scent.

The next day I consume about 3 balls of the candies but I notice that I didn't smell like previously..maybe my body soap smell is too overwhelming so I only notice the body soap smell.

For the improving skin side, I don't really notice anything special about my skin either..so I couldn't really tell.

Being priced RM9.90 per packet, I think it is somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed the candy as a snack but I can't really tell about the improving skin nor the body odour. Might as well try the other gum type of this candy next time.

Oh, I noticed that some other site are selling this for quite pricey, about RM28, and I think RM9.90 is way more cheaper than that. You can get them from NattaCosme.

Thank you for reading~ xoxo
