I've been sick for the past few days so I don't get chances to post a review. So today I'm a bit okay now but still having my flu, which is frustrating..T_T

Anyway, Gong Xi Fa Cai to all my readers whom celebrated the Lunar New Year!

Today, I'll be reviewing a product from TheSkinTopic which recently launched a new brand, e v o l u .

Their representative contact me again to try their new product and she suggest me this Purifying Mask from evolu to try out based on my skin condition. You may read my other review for their products here.

A little bit about e v o l u ;

This mask is a kaolin-based natural cleanser designed to balance the skin's sebum activity. It contains plant actives including fennel, hops, balm mint and mistletoe, specifically chosen for their purifying, detoxifying and refreshing benefits. These are complemented with additional hydrating extracts of sweet orange, lavender, chamomile and kiwifruit seed oil. A natural antioxidant rich in Vitamin C, kiwifruit is an active ingredient in all evolu moisturisers.

The packaging is simple and it is easy to get the information you wanted because it's written on every part of the tube.

Hooray for no harsh chemicals!

Ooops, sorry for the weird position of the tube. It looks like the mask is flying up..haha

I'm impressed that the texture of the mask is very light and smooth and not like other clay products which is heavy in texture and some of them are gritty.

How to use :

1. Clean up your face with face wash and moisturize your skin.

2. Squeeze the mask from the tube and apply it evenly onto your skin. Avoid eyes area.

3. Wait until 10-15 minutes or until the mask dry.

4. Take a wet towel and soak it into the warm water.

5. Gently remove the mask from your face.

My tips :

1. Moisturize your face is important before applying mask because to maintain hydrated skin. Some says if you don't moisturize your face before wearing a mask, the effect of the mask is reduced.

2. Don't apply on eye areas. Since the mask will eventually dry and your eye area is pretty fragile so it's better don't.

3. Use microfibre towel instead of the normal ones. The mask sticks better onto the microfibre towel and it makes it easy to remove and requires no tugging.

4. Warm water is the best option. It open up your pores and while you're cleaning the mask, the dirty pores will go along with the mask removal.

5. Moisturize your face again after cleansing the mask. This is important as you want to close your pores again.

I've tried it for more than a month, basically about 1-2 times a week. I could say that I seriously love this mask! It does clean up my face and make it smoother!

The left picture is when the mask almost dry and the right one is after I washed my face and put serum on.

You can probably see that my skin is glowy and cleaned.

You could see that the mask looks pretty white when I first applied it but after it dries, some of the part turn almost invisible! At first I wondered if I ever wear it wrong or maybe I mistakenly read a cream as a mask but it's true.

Unlike the other clay mask I've tried, most of them are pretty thick which I could barely stand to wear it for too long coz I'm afraid of break out because my pores can't breath but with this mask, it feels so light and thin in texture which is easily applied and does not clog my pores. It is also so easy to remove but it depends on how many layer of the mask did you put on. The thicker you layered, it will took a bit of time to remove but no worries with warm water and microfibre towel. Both of them are really helpful :D

The packaging is simple and easy. It's a tube so I don't have to scoop it with a spoon like the most of clay mask. I get annoyed much with something that came in a jar provided with a spoon coz I don't bother to use the spoon which also will result in unhygienic because whenever I used the spoon, I'll have to scoop for another round and that is no different than using clean fingers.

No particular disturbing smell but there is a slight natural smell onto it which I consider is not a big deal. The product is botanic and made with pure ingredients so I have no worries.

[REVIEW] HiShop Welcome Pack [ April Edition ]

Hello ladies! Happy weekend to all of you!

Well, I don't really have plans for this weekend, so I probably will spend my time in front of computer. :D

Last two weeks ago when I just received words from HiShop.com.my that I was chosen as their beauty ambassador, this bright pink box arrived to my doorstep a few days later! How efficient!

  The first and main product I told you is this Beauty Balm from FARMASI Cosmetics. They're Turkish brand cosmetics and I actually heard about of them quite a few times before this. 

This BB cream have two shades which are 01 Light and 02 Medium to Dark. I'm glad that they choose the right shade for me!I usually go for the darkest shade for every BB cream I bought because I love to mix the colors with the light BB cream color I have to get the correct shade.

This is a mask sheet from "touch in SOL" brand which is sweet honey type.

Since my skin is acne-prone which is prone to redness on cheek, this is the right one for me!

[REVIEW] KOSE Sekkisei Lotion and KOSE Seikisho Mask White

So at the end of last year until a week ago, I was obsessed over whitening skincare. Though I rarely posted about skincare here because I think I'm not good enough in terms of skin care..haha

I stopped about few days ago because one of my blog reader told me that whitening skincare can exaggerate my acne-prone skin because whitening skincare contains the harsh ingredients..oh well, she's right. I was obsessed with whitening skinc are because I gave up of searching the right skin care for my acne-prone skin..so I'm looking for another alternatives that could work better..lol

Anyway, after reading reviews and suggestions, I found this whitening skincare under the KOSE brands which is said works really good on most of skin. Because this brand is more to high-end brand that could hit hundreds or 1k for the whole skincare, I decided to just try out the samples which I bought from eshoppingstrawberry. They carried a lot of high-end brand with them so you might want to check them out. In terms of price, I suggest you not to ask me since I don't know the store price compared to them since I never used any high-end brand before..hehe

I think KOSE had another collection of whitening skincare which I'm not sure what was the name of the collection so google if you want to know..lol

So here are the two picture of the full sized products of promo pictures I found for the samples that I tried because the samples packaging may not look the same as samples but there aren't much difference actually.

The mask white on my face since I don't take much picture..

The lotion samples lasts about 4 times for me and 3 times for the mask white.I'm not sure why it was called mask white because the color is dark blue.

The lotion has a very slight blue tint to the liquid and it smells like herbs. I used not too like strong smell of herbs but I guess I kinda like this smell..It feels very light on face and I think there is a bit of cooling sensation to it. I love this lotion because it makes my face less oily :)

For the mask white, I would say that it works really really well with whitening properties with just one used. Probably it is a peel off type that it removes my whiteheads and blackheads along with it and then it makes my face looks brighter. It is really thick and it is so hard spread but I guess that was a peel off mask should be like. The mask itself is hurt a little bit when I remove it probably it is because I left the mask for too long and that makes the mask is drier than it should be. One thing I wanna say that you shouldn't apply this mask around your eye area coz it's gonna be freaking hurt that I actually cried..lol

Overall, I really love both of the products that I've tried. For repurchasing, I mean the full size one..I might have to think of my money first..lol but if you do have the money, why not try them? It's worth it if you love whitening skincare.

I'm currently is starting my acne/oily skin skincare routine all over again and thanks to Yue Rain for the advice you shared with me. It is really helpful :D

[REVIEW] Zamian Premium Magic Black Cacao Chocolate Pack/Mask

Hey guys!I know I've been inactive since the past week.It is because I've done the testing for the products that I will reviewed today..^_^

It's the Zamian Magic Black Cacao Mask!I know there are a lot of reviews before me and there are a lot of raves about this product.Last 2 weeks,"SHOPSHOP" is having a promo on mysale(?)<--I forgot which site it was but I think it is mysale.The usual price for a 150g mask is about RM69-RM80 but this time I got it for RM39.90 with free shipping which a lot cheaper..I've been wanting to try this for sometime and finally I got my hands on it!

You can can check that shop.It's almost in Chinese and I can't understand Chinese..T^T..but hey,they have quite lots of products and what have been attract me is they send mine from Johor to Selangor which was very fast!They even put the mask in a box and they include receipts and ways to wear the mask!How convenient!

Actually I only tried this once but I think it was enough..

Description : 

It is ideal for tired skin.It leaves the skin supple and velvet-soft and makes the skin healthy.All skin types.

How to use the mask :

1 - Apply the mask after applying toner.It is because after applying toner,our cuticle will be more moisturized and thus the following application of skincare products will be more efficient.

2 - Apply the mask and stay on for around 15 minutes before it gets dry.After that,simply use tap water to wash it away. To clean it thoroughly, you are recommended to use a a cotton pad with some toner and wipe your face gently.You can then check your cotton pad to see whether your face has been cleaned clearly.

3 - You can now continue your skincare procedure like applying moisturizer/lotion/emulsion/cream.This mask can be used up to 5 times a week.Use with accordance to your skin problem.

My verdict :

 Firstly I wanna say that the chocolate smell was so good!!!I almost tried to lick it!lol

The mask is very glossy which means it is very easy to spread!I thought it kinda of drying one but it is not!

I have a very bad day skin nowadays so when my first apply this,it was kinda hurt at some parts especially the part that was affected with pimples.So I suggest you to calm your pimples first(doesn't mean you have to completely remove it first) with some medication or traditional ways before applying this mask because basically,this is not really specific for acne-prone skin.I can feel my skin were much smoother after washing it off and yeah,the chocolate smell is still on my face for few minutes..haha..Overall,this is good for daily wash-off mask which I think it wouldn't hurt the skin. ^_^

[REVIEW]Sasatinnie Black Caviar Nourishing Mask

Hi!I just finished my first paper while ago and I think I want to loosen up a bit so I think my blog..Today,I'm going to review a mask from Sasatinnie that I won from Nicole's Mirror blog giveaway..(I think I keep this mask for a while now..hehe)

What the mask claimed :

Nourishing and repairing.Supplies skin with abundant caviar and algal nourishment, repairs damaged skin and deeply nourishes dehydrated skin.Enhances anti-ageing effect with vitamin A,C and E.

Ingredients :

AQUA,ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF,PROPYLENE GLYCOL,BUTYLENE GLYCOL,ALGAE EXTRACT,FAGUS SYLVATICA BUD EXTRACT,NIACINAMIDE,HYDROXYETHYL UREA,CHONDRUS CRISPUS,HAMAMELIS VIGINIANA EXTRACT,COLLAGEN,CUCUMIS SATIVUS FRUIT EXTRACT,GLYCERIN,XANTHAN GUM,DIPOTASSIUM GLYCRRHIZATE,SODIUM HYALURONATE,METHYLPARABEN,SALMO OVUM(SALMON EGG) EXTRACT,SODIUM CITRATE,METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE,CITRIC ACID.

Seriously,that was a freaking long weird name ever!This is my first time I wrote ingredients in my review and I wanted to say to those creators,just said the exact name in our language..don't need all this science name which not everyone understand it..=_=

To highlight,this mask contain MethylParaben,so to whoever that might be picky to this ingredient,don't buy this mask as this is one of the ingredient.

Pros : 

It does hydrate my skin but to say that it nourishes,it was pretty early to said since I only used this once.

Cons :

1 - I freak out to read the ingredient "Hydroxyethyl Urea" although I don't know what it was..

2 - It claims it is anti-ageing and I don't see much this effect after wearing this mask.

3 - The mask shape didn't suit my face since the parts that I suppose to cling onto my ears,this mask didn't reach that far but it was too large on the chin part.

[REVIEW]MJ Care Masks!

Firstly,a very sorry to everyone because I promised that I will be blogging through out the week but I stop after few days..it is because of the festive season,a lot of people are coming over and I've to help my mother from day to night..It was super tiring and I didn't have the time to blog because I went bed early.. So,I'm going to continue today..hope you don't mind (;´ρ`) ｸﾞｯﾀﾘ


This time I'm going to review another masks type that I used..hmm..most probably already been two weeks 
already..and yeah,I bought this along with the french ampoules I reviewed before with the same seller..hehe


Owh,before I head one more..MJ Care masks is from and produced in Korea by MIJIN Cosmetics.I wasn't 
intentionally bought a 'Korean masks' coz I don't know this brand before nor knowing where it comes from..
haha..Just after I bought them and I read the total-written-in-korean description and I know,aha,this is from Korea 
then.. ^_^

These are the masks but actually there are 16 piece of it and 3 types from all types.I already used some before and this photo was taken few days ago and you would say only few left with me now..

The first one would be MJ Care Charcoal Essence Mask.This mask suits oily,big pores and acne type skin the most because it can heal them.At first I'm not going to believe but after trying it few times and it was absolutely true!It heals my several acne!

As I said before,my acne never heals completely out of my face and I was really depressed by it..(well said that I'm fed-up with the acne because won't be able to get rid from me..keke)

Just I suggest you to use this mask together with MJ Care Herb Essence Mask before using this especially for bad acne because the herb one can calm down your skin first!That's how I do it!

The Jasmine Essence Mask just another mask that suits oily skin and this is one of the mask that helps too!

But if you're going to skip this then it won't matter since you will use both charcoal and herb one!

This is the MJ Care Herb Essence Mask I'm talking about..It do what it has to do and I was satisfied!

All Korean words..please read if you can understand..hehe

Well,its good to see some English too!

Yeah,this is how I know that the masks is from Korea..

For the shaping,not all the masks have the same cut..I don't know what machine they used to produce that but all the sheet is not with the same size..some of them were ok and some of it were not so ok..

All the masks have fragrance/smell and the strongest smell is the herb one..Others are not too strong but well,I'm saying this because maybe some of us will not used to fragrance..especially the strongest one..None of the smell bothered me since it was smell very good~!~~

So yeah,please try it if you're interested.I would say that this mask is reasonable and worth to buy!

[REVIEW]Rohto Oxy Blemish Control Mask

Only 2 days left before the festive season starts!Huurraaayyyy!!

and I spent a lot on beauty for this special festive season to looks pretty!omo..(*≧▽≦)

Last time I went to Watsons..hmm.actually didn't intend to buy any but since my sister insist me to accompany her so I have to..hehe..and finally I bought this masks!

Oxy Masks!I don't know if this thing available in your country or have heard of this line before but OXY is one the brand that promotes acne solution after the disappearing of T3!

Let's check out this mask!

A 5/5 mark for me because the packaging is able to sold me!

ahah!The main reason I bought this since I have acne-prone skin!

Okay,to my opinion,

I wear this mask straight two days after buying it..and after I opened the package,the mask have a strong smell which I can't tell what is the smell was because I'm bad at names..hehe..but it doesn't bother me since I really like the smell!!fuuuhuu!

But to disappointment, the mask shape and cutting wasn't really into my liking since the jaw was tooo BIG!I have to fold the mask till it suits my face well but you can know that the sheet now is double..

The results is not showed up either,I had few breakouts these days and these mask doesn't heal my acne/breakouts neither reduce the redness..awww..so sad..I pay a lot for this!

But maybe..or I'm not too realizing it,the smaller bumps was reduced.I don't know if I'm wrong or not but as I know,I got a lot of smaller bumps but ti reduced!Then should I say this works??errmm..didn;t know either since I use another products as well with this mask..

Anyway,repurchase?No..I better try again with BeautyMate Mask because it reduce my breakout with a piece of mask!oh yeah! ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ

Random Hauls : Nano White Refining Treatment Toner and Mud Mask *Strawberry

Hello guys,as I said in the chat box,I'll be doing a review again..hehe..just a random stuff that I pass by and want to try it before but I just remembered it today.

Must be most of you said if it is okay if I go and get some random stuff and try every different products everyday?I'm wondering the same things too.Its because I don't have a complete line for some line or products,so I have to mix up the things that I used but don't worry,now I try to organize back so I only use some products that I wanted first then after finishing up or not loving it,I'll try others then..hehe..

Okay,back to my review this time,today I went to a market to go and get some food stocks,yea I'm lovin that..haha..and as usual,if there is a store and the nearer shop must be beauty shop..hehe..so I drop by this beauty shop and take a look at some products but aha,,if you see something that unfamiliar with your eyes and the packaging is quite sweet,won't you holding it??haha..that's me..so I saw some products there..There are salt?for feet..a powder-like shower bath?omo..really I never saw this..hehe..but I didn't buy that since I have to use a lot of my money to pay for ebay bid products..haha..so I pick the mud mask and the nano white one is from the market(coz every market would have beauty section right) =)

I write this post while wearing the mask.hehe..its quite good too!Although the color is not actually pink but red.The smell was ok...The thing that great about this mask that it doesn't sticky at all.Of course I would apply this using my had right?But it doesn't feel anything at all!I just spread the residue wit my fingers and it disappear like that!Great thing!

For nano white,

I actually don't have toner at all so I buy this since I want to try this before.Nano White,a brand from Japan that quite famous here.So i'm trying this new products and I would say that the smell is really good!omo..so good!The bottle is quite big too and the price is okay for me about RM19.90.I wear this few times already today as after I finish washing my face.Before this I've tried other toner,yea..I stole my mom's and sister's...but I just try it a little bit.It does hurting my skin.I don't know why and thats why I didn't wear toner maybe?coz it hurts.With this toner,it doesn't hurting at all!I was surprised too!I think I want to try the whole line after this like cleansing foam,refining mask and others..seems like a promising one~!
