The Versatile Blogger Award

This post has been in my draft since forever, lol. So I decided to finish it up today while I'm in the midst of preparing a new review :D

You can really guess what's today post , Stephanie from Stephanie Angel awarded me with "The Versatile Blogger Award" two months ago I guess(?) and that sum up that this is the third or fourth time I was awarded with this type of blog award. Sadly I only ever do a post before and that is the "Liebster Award". Someone did tag me before too but I was too busy that I forgot to return her kindness and I still can't found it until now :(

Anyway, I would like to say thanks to Stephanie for the award :D
I'm still learning to improve my blog in many ways including my English..lol
So the award rules :
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Include a link to their blog.
3. Nominate 15 bloggers you recently discovered.
4. Write down 7 facts about yourself.

7 facts about myself ;
1 - I'm a shut-in otaku. Well, it's not that bad, it's just I prefer to stay at home(specifically in my room) better than going outside because it's troublesome to dress up..hehe.. In fact, when it is holiday, I'm always at home, alone, but I never felt bored at all because the internet always with me.

2 - I love Chocolate milk. I can't drink other flavour of milk even the original because I felt like throwing up. Just recently my dad used to buy more original flavoured milk and it is actually doesn't taste that bad. Still I prefer chocolate flavour more. Even now, I never short of chocolate milk ever since 9 years ago.

3 - My hair grows really fast. I used to have a very long hair reaching up to my legs until I was 12 years old. That time my sister decided to cut off her hair and I was so timid and I want to do everything that my sister do, so we both had a very short hair since then. Right after, I was offered to a boarding school and my mom said it's better to just keep my hair short because it is easier to dry up because I'm wearing hijab. So until now(I'm 21 y/o) I still had a very short hair. I even ask my hair stylist to keep it shorter like a guy(a few of them did and most of them refused coz they were afraid to cut a girl's hair like a guy). I can't count on how many times I went to a salon to cut off my hair in a year because it grows really fast. My friends did notice it too. However, since my sis now had her long hair back, I thought I'm gonna keep it from this day. (Not sure if I can..haha)

Let me tell you a story, when I was in high school. I live in a dorm for 5 years (all my high school year coz it's a boarding school) and once my hair stylist cut off my hair really short and even shaved my hair around my ears and at the bottom of the hair. So once I was walking through the corridor, some girl shout, there's a guy in the hostel and everybody ran into their room and close the door..wtf..ahaha XD My room mate came up to me laughed. I thought it was really funny but eventually everyone knows who's that girl with short hair. Because there are only 2 girls in the hostel which own a very short hair like a guy. It's me and my senior.
4 - I laughed a lot. To those people who didn't know me, most of them probably said that I'm arrogant because I'm not friendly or should I say, I'm not good at speaking up to people. I would be 100 times glad if someone approach me first. There's one time my senior said that I'm too shy or too withdrawn. So we had a few chats and I really laughed a lot so they said, you actually is not shy at all XD .Some of my besties, I did ask of them what their first impression of me, they said I'm unapproachable but after they know me, I was like just the other girl :D

5 - I like dancing (?) hahaa..I do love dancing but only to myself. I don't dare to do it if there are people watching me.

6 - I has no boyfriend. Indeed I never date at all. Simply because I'm not attractive..haha
But other reason probably because I feel awkward around guys and when someone directed their eyes to me, I'm unintentionally inverted my eyes to other things like a habit or doing things that will not please the person such as intentionally being mean (not with words but with face). With this, I manage to shove away tons of guys! hahahaha

7 - Last facts! I'm beauty junkie. (Is this a new fact? People could tell easily)
I read a newspaper yesterday about a girl telling the editor about her beauty junkie problem. She said she always bought cosmetics non-stop and when she sees her friend buys something, she would do the same too. Somehow this remind of me so much but I guess, I've changed in a certain way. To those girls out there, who had this kind of addiction, I guess you better think about it again. I probably rarely say this but my acne face problem started when I start to use make up. It's the truth. I keep buying those cosmetics without having a proper skincare and when I was 19-20 y/o, my face is really horrible. It's not as bad as the whole face is infected but compared to my original skin, which I had a very clean face. Nowadays, I still buy as much products but it is always more skincare than make up. I rarely buys more make up now but if I do, it is something that I really need. It's not wrong with buying as long as you put a limit to it. Calculate your budget, do you have enough money to buy food? and etc. I have great interest in fashion as well so I always divided something enough for my interest as well as money to buy food. Always check your debit and credit amount.

I think that's all? It was fun to do this kind of post sometimes

So I tag 15 bloggers ( some of you are not new but I just don't know how to tag TT)
8 : Sample Hime
9 : Park Lee
10 : Azwa's Blog
11 : Luxury Heaven
12 : Gemgem World
13 : Charrmyn

And all of you too! Sorry that I forgot a lof of bloggers blog link so I can't tag you :(

Thank you for reading!

[REVIEW] KARADIUM Luster Base Color Control Cream SPF30PA++

This CC cream was sent to me by cosmetic-love as a part of their 1st beauty testers. It's been two months since they sent this and unfortunately it was sent to a wrong address and I manage to contact the person to sent the parcel to me. She was busy until two weeks ago where this CC cream finally arrived to me safely.
It's totally my fault as I forgot to update my profile details and just the time that I realize that, they already sent the item.

Too bad that this brand already discontinued from cosmetic-love. I'm not sure why they delete the brand but for future information, I'll update this post. Anyway, since it's already here, why not a review? I've tried this for these past two weeks every time I went out. Even my sister recognize that I'm wearing a different make up.

Before I wrote the review thoroughly, here are some of the product information you might wanted to know.

K A R A D I U M

Product Information
Name : Karadium Luster Base Color Control Cream SPF30PA++
Brand : Karadium Professional
Production : Made in Korea
Type : Color-changing CC cream
Price : 48,000 won (approx. RM148)

Their packaging reminds of Chanel so much.

I'm sorry that the box is horrible-looking as it was shipped two times..

Karadium words are written all over the inner box.

Most of the details written are in Korean. Sorry that I'm not able to translate them.

Thankfully the ingredients are written in English and it was reaaally long too!

This CC cream came in a squeeze tube.

Mineral oil free!yeay

Could you see the dark tiny bits there?

It's a color changing CC cream means that it will change it's color according to your skin tone. I guess the dark tiny bits are the caused for the color changing.

You can see that my skin color changed from dull to brighter looking skin!
The CC cream also cover some minor flaws and redness as well as my big pores

This is my first time trying a color-changing CC cream and it is an expensive brand too!
I would say it rather satisfies me with the result because it is very good.

This CC cream came in a white color and when you rub it, it simply change color to your skin tone which made me really happy.

There is a faint smell which is similar to Nature Republic Tinted CC cream that I ever tried.
It smell organic? I guess..but it is wouldn't last longer.

The CC cream also contain  no mineral oil which I should be thankful coz it won't clogged my pores and won't cause breakout too (Indeed I never had any break outs from this)

The finish is moist which I thought it won't cause my make-up to be a mess even after a long hour (because of my oily skin)

Although it is only a base make up, I can go out just with this because it already cover some of minor flaws and corrected my skin color enough for me to feel confident. Although I really don't recommend for you to go out just with this because this CC cream is not enough to last long for the whole day.

I could say that this CC cream (alone) can stay about 3-4 hours on face without added with powders on top. I also have tried using this for my base make up and the level is comparable to my favorite make up primer because it makes my make-up stay longer and even if I dab my oily face with tissues after a long hour, I can still see that my make-up is still intact.

Overall, I really love this CC cream and my sister(which is a bit darker than me) looks great with it
You should give it a try ~!

[REVIEW] Missha Treatment Essence vs Secret Key Treatment Essence

Hi!
My mom is sick today and luckily, today is public holiday. Since I
can't cook much so my dad just ordered a take out.

Anyway, today I'll be reviewing these popular treatment essence which is said as dupe to SK-2.
It's gonna be a long post so you can skip the part that you don't want to read.

Product information :
Name : Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence
Price : 42000 won ( approx. RM150 ) *I got it for RM96(+/-)*
Product Volume : 150ml

Start with Missha's, this is actually my second bottle despite of the price
I mention which could make me starve for a month..lol
Another thing, if you ask for the product link, I can no longer give it because the price is only when they had sale.

Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence claimed ;
Defining, lifting, hydration, rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle, tone balancing, restoration, radiance.        6 Free System : Paraben, Mineral Oil, Artificial Color, Silicon, Alcohol and Pigment
Defining
Since I'm not really good in English so I had a hard time understanding what defining skin means. So I guess define means to make skin softer. Using this for two bottles, I could tell that this really makes my skin softer.

Lifting
Considering my age, I don't have problems with sagging. So I just refer to my cheeks to my chin. Lifting usually connected with this V-shaped face. Though I don't have a perfect V-shape but I could tell that my cheeks never went down even though I sometimes gain weight.

Rejuvenation & Anti-Wrinkle
Most of article I read, a lot of them said 18 is the age where you start aging so since I'm over 18, I probably have the same problem too. I did notice a few fine lines on my forehead because of I always furrowed my eyebrow. Since it was really fine which could be hardly noticed, so I'm not really sure if this works.

Tone Balancing & Radiance
I always had problem with dull skin so with the used of this essence, I noticed that my face looks glowy with pink-red radiance. I would love to show before and after but I forgot to take the before pic

Restoration
This could means a lot. Restore aging skin to youth looking skin, restore dull skin to bright skin, reduce scars. Basically, in my problem, I had dull skin and acne scars and this essence did a great job on that!

Smell
It wasn't included in the claim so I just want to add that Missha's smells like herb or something. It was pleasant for me.

Product information :
Name : Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence
Price : 38000 wn (approx. RM116) *I got this for RM38*
Product Volume : 155ml

This ingredient were taken from qoo10 but I don't know if is the latest one or not. Because I saw another posters seems like outdated or the information is not correct.

I decided to buy Secret Key's as Missha's ran out and since Missha's was pretty expensive for me to buy it every month. One bottle only last me for a month or more because I used them for 3 times a day.
Some of you guys wondered why the original price is so different that the one that I bought. Is mine fake?
No, mine is certified original and Secret Key list two price is their website which is 19,900 won (approx. RM61). I bought from a wholesaler and I guess that's why their price is cheaper? Plus Secret Key always had sales all year around so there shouldn't be claimed on why their price could be cheaper than that.

Secret Key Starting Essence Treatment claimed ;
Calming skin, whitening, adjusting skin texture, elasticity, moisturising, improve.
7 Free System : Paraben, Mineral Oil, Pigment, Alcohol, Artificial Scent and Benzophene.

Calming Skin
This is my third week of trying this essence and I could say that it is pretty good in calming those pimples on face. Though on recent days, I could say that my skin condition is 150% better than before even before I used this. I rarely get pimples anymore but if I do, it would easily disappear *happy mood*

Whitening
I did experience whitening when I used Missha's but not so much with this. It could be my skin has improved but I don't see anything significantly.

Adjusting Skin Texture
Again, I have problem interpreting what skin texture means so I concluded that this means in changing rough skin to smoother skin. Honestly when my pimples were pretty bad, I could tell that my skin is rough with all the pimples and white head ( I rarely get black head ) and since most part of my skin has improved ( of course with the proper cleansing and food consuming ) , I could tell that my skin is "sube sube"(jap word means smooth)..

Elasticity
When I used Missha's for the first time, I felt so magical when my skin is really smooth and elastic(?)
like those SK-2 ads..haha and Secret Key's did the same too! I mean my "elasticity" means bouncy skin. Not sure how to describe this properly so just watch SK-2 advertisement..

Moisturising
Indeed. My face feels less oilier too and that makes my make up last longer.

Improve
Of course! Especially to the problems that I concerned with like acne , dull skin and oily skin.

Smell
My first time using this, I think the smell is a bit like chemical but it gradually disappear when you used it frequently.

The purpose of this photo is just want to show the difference between Missha's and Secret Key's. Honestly I prefer Secret Key's better. Not sure why..lol

Anyway, you already read my review so both of them doesn't really have difference that much and works as equal. Between cheap and expensive, which one do you prefer? Sometimes people prefer more popular brand as they believe it would work better. It's all up to you, I just give my opinion :D I myself sometimes had the same kind of perspective too.

Anyway, thanks for reading, I think this is the first time I wrote a lengthily post. Super tiring and I made my brain processed more than I do everyday..XD

[REVIEW] eSpoir Lip Lacquer Extreme Fit #WN601 Night Fall

Hi, I'm back! Sorry for neglecting this blog for so long :(
It's because I became so infatuated with reading manga..ahaha XD

I originally wanted to blog about my haul but the pictures turns out to be ugly so
I think it's better to came up with a review for individual product first :D

I'm so into vampy lips since a few months ago and I can't stop myself for choosing almost vamp lip colors so here is the latest lip product that I bought which cost me quite a penny.. 0.0

Moreover, lip lacquer is quite popular lately and I really wanted to try it once so I choose eSpoir new product to splurge in. Originally I wanted to try the 3CE lip lacquer but it sounds like it would be to dry for mah lips X(

It's my first time trying this brand and just look at those super fancy box! geez, if I ever walk in into the store, I would be broke in few secs..

I'm sorry that it is already stained because I already used it for a dinner I attended a month ago. The furry applicator originally came in white color and it is softer than Etude House version. No matter how much time you used this, it won't get hard as Etude House's.

That looks like on how Etude House Rosy Tint Lip after squeeze but at least to take out this much product is 100 times easier than Etude House for sure..XD

You just have to twist the bottom part to take out the product.

Here, I made a few comparison of this lip lacquer.

The photo with flash on definitely is not the true color of this product
but I just wanted to show how it will looks like with flash on and flash off.

You can see a big difference here.

I compared this lip lacquer with Etude House Rosy Tint in After Blossom and it looks like they both doesn't really have much big difference in terms on color but I realize that Etude House had more slightly pink hint whilst eSpoir lip lacquer had this dirty dark red hint.

You also can see the difference in terms on texture here. eSpoir lip lacquer is water-like liquid that sips into my skin whilst Etude House Rosy Tint is thick in texture. Because of the different texture, I find that Etude House is way more drier than eSpoir lip lacquer because of the texture that is similar to a lipstick. The eSpoir lip lacquer get reasonably dry but it is good if you top up your lips with a lip balm beforehand.

The lip lacquer gives extreme pigmented color considering that the product is water-like texture.

  • Very pigmented color
  • The packaging is twistable and easy to use
  • Soft tip
  • Available in various colors
  • Nice berry scent
  • Could be too dry in winter
  • Easy to disappear when consuming food but leave a nice hint color on lips
  • Pricey (18000 won)

I got extra time (not really, I always have extra time at home) so I was inspired by Lana del Rey "Tropico" album cover. I'm a big fan of her with her classic look and husky voice :D Though she seems to use white for the clothing and the photo is taken in the middle of the road with trees as background at NIGHT. So I thought that I'm not brave enough to do the same and I wanted to approach dark looking side and finally I choose to wore all black.

There are few photos that I took which I included a red hijab but it looks ugly so I decided not to add the photos here. It's my first time and it's self-taken with the help of camera's timer so please be kind..XD ( coz nobody is home to help me TT ) Moreover, I deliberately used a lighter shade of BB cream to give this porcelain white look but I know, I failed right away *sobs*

Original color.

I thought the instagram filter turned my pic like the way I wanted..haha
