[REVIEW] KARADIUM Luster Base Color Control Cream SPF30PA++

This CC cream was sent to me by cosmetic-love as a part of their 1st beauty testers. It's been two months since they sent this and unfortunately it was sent to a wrong address and I manage to contact the person to sent the parcel to me. She was busy until two weeks ago where this CC cream finally arrived to me safely.
It's totally my fault as I forgot to update my profile details and just the time that I realize that, they already sent the item.

Too bad that this brand already discontinued from cosmetic-love. I'm not sure why they delete the brand but for future information, I'll update this post. Anyway, since it's already here, why not a review? I've tried this for these past two weeks every time I went out. Even my sister recognize that I'm wearing a different make up.

Before I wrote the review thoroughly, here are some of the product information you might wanted to know.

K A R A D I U M

Product Information
Name : Karadium Luster Base Color Control Cream SPF30PA++
Brand : Karadium Professional
Production : Made in Korea
Type : Color-changing CC cream
Price : 48,000 won (approx. RM148)

Their packaging reminds of Chanel so much.

I'm sorry that the box is horrible-looking as it was shipped two times..

Karadium words are written all over the inner box.

Most of the details written are in Korean. Sorry that I'm not able to translate them.

Thankfully the ingredients are written in English and it was reaaally long too!

This CC cream came in a squeeze tube.

Mineral oil free!yeay

Could you see the dark tiny bits there?

It's a color changing CC cream means that it will change it's color according to your skin tone. I guess the dark tiny bits are the caused for the color changing.

You can see that my skin color changed from dull to brighter looking skin!
The CC cream also cover some minor flaws and redness as well as my big pores

This is my first time trying a color-changing CC cream and it is an expensive brand too!
I would say it rather satisfies me with the result because it is very good.

This CC cream came in a white color and when you rub it, it simply change color to your skin tone which made me really happy.

There is a faint smell which is similar to Nature Republic Tinted CC cream that I ever tried.
It smell organic? I guess..but it is wouldn't last longer.

The CC cream also contain  no mineral oil which I should be thankful coz it won't clogged my pores and won't cause breakout too (Indeed I never had any break outs from this)

The finish is moist which I thought it won't cause my make-up to be a mess even after a long hour (because of my oily skin)

Although it is only a base make up, I can go out just with this because it already cover some of minor flaws and corrected my skin color enough for me to feel confident. Although I really don't recommend for you to go out just with this because this CC cream is not enough to last long for the whole day.

I could say that this CC cream (alone) can stay about 3-4 hours on face without added with powders on top. I also have tried using this for my base make up and the level is comparable to my favorite make up primer because it makes my make-up stay longer and even if I dab my oily face with tissues after a long hour, I can still see that my make-up is still intact.

Overall, I really love this CC cream and my sister(which is a bit darker than me) looks great with it
You should give it a try ~!

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Aura Color Control Cream SPF30/PA++

Since I'll be busy started next week and probably won't post reviews everyday, I diligently doing review post every day this week. Thank you for your kind feedback, I'll work hard to post the best review I can do :)

Anyway, it's time for another CC cream review! Since so many of you emailed and message me to review Etude House CC cream which I actually haven't try nor buy it because I just realize that my skin is really sensitive to the newer Etude House BB Cream. It tends to broke me out if I wear it for 3 hours and more plus I read a review on them saying that the CC cream is too sheer.

Just pray that I would get the samples later on or any website do sales in the future, I might consider on trying it :)

Back to the main point, today I'll review the CC cream from TheFaceShop which is the Aura Color Control Cream sample that I got. I think they had another CC cream in tube type which I think the name is pretty similar. This one is the MULE-like packaging CC cream which cost a bit because of the packaging I think.

Update : The packaging of the CC Cream!

It is actually pretty small but can last about 3-4 times wear for me. A little goes a long way~

Before and after. It simply brighten my skin.

It looks like there are a bit oil there but this is a zoom in picture. So the real thing isn't that much.

Before and after. It is actually pretty hard to show my bare skin because its full of acne scars and redness TT
The right one is after I applied the CC cream.

Thanks to the sample I got, I finally can try other CC cream aside Nature Republic. Compared to the Nature Republic CC cream, I would say that I love this more than the Nature Republic CC cream because it gives a bit of coverage! It was a surprised because I don't expect it at all. I guess this is more to the BB cream side which you may have to use BB cleanser or oil cleanser to remove it completely.

Other than that, the CC cream is beige is color and has yellow undertone to it. So it matches my skin more though it's one shade lighter but I can fix them with powder to correct the color a bit.

Different from Nature Republic CC cream, this CC cream is on the waterproof side. I sweat and still don't see that the cream budge nor spoiled on my face. I think I could wear this alone :D

The cream is moisturising but not too oily. Although the oil test above shows that this CC cream contains a bit of oil but when I apply this onto my face, it doesn't feel oily at all. It makes my face looks glowing but not too overpowering which I love it because I had an oily skin and I wanted to prevent the shiny looks as possible.

For the thickness of the cream, it's not too thick and not too watery either and it is easy to blend on face plus
it doesn't feel sticky on face either.

Overall, I really like this CC cream because the shades is closed to my skin tone plus the healthy glow it gives If you ask did I consider buying the full size, I already purchased it!hehe :D

If you have more questions to ask, please leave your comment on this post. Thank you :D

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Super Origin Complete Control Cream(CC Cream) SPF30/PA++ #Tinted

Hello sweeties! It has been about two weeks since my last post. Sorry, I didn't blog that much since I just finished my final examinations plus trying all these new stuffs. It took a bit of time for me to write a proper review.

Anyhow, today I'm going to review a CC cream from Nature Republic. I know many of you know what is CC Cream is but I just say the summary here. CC Cream is known as Color Control, Complete Control or Correct&Care or many others. Basically they have a lot of benefits to the skin which is the upgraded version of BB Cream.

Basically, me myself is not agree with the statement of "upgrade" coz BB cream do have coverage while CC cream are not. While most of Korean company are referring this cream as a base which means, you'll wear another layer of foundation or BB cream on top of it.

It's a bit surprising since I opted for Nature Republic this time and not Etude House..haha.
It's because Nature Republic CC Cream is the most organic looking and they had three types of CC cream too under the 'Super Origin' collection. There are brightening, color change and tinted and I choose the Color Change but the seller sent me the tinted one T_T. But it's okay since later on when I ordered this, I realize that I should choose the tinted one instead because the color change may looks too white for me. Thankfully, they sent me the tinted one!lol

p/s : all pictures are enlargeable,so click it for better view :)

If you read carefully, the description said "Braille for blind" and yes, there are braille on top of the ingredients list. :)

Because the ingredients won't fit into one picture so I captured two parts! haha XD

It came in a tube!Hygiene secured :)

The cream has grey undertone to it.
Half-blend and fully blend cc cream.
Before and after. I forgot to write that but I'm sure you see the difference right?

Oil test :)

My face before and after applying the cc cream. Does my skin looks grey? -pardon my dark circle-

This CC cream benefit for anti-wrinkle, whitening and UV protection. It claims that it will gives abundant moisture, sunscreen, bright skin in this 45g cream content. Well, I agree to most of them but I'm not sure about the anti-wrinkle and whitening properties since I don't see much difference in skin color plus myself had an irregular sleeping time.

I've tried this CC cream about one week and half and I notice that the CC cream is not waterproof. There is one time when I apply this and I sweat, the CC cream spoiled on my face so I had to wiped it TT

If you notice, the CC cream is sheer but it gives a little bit coverage and it covers a little bit of my dark circles. The blemishes still appear but my skin color improve from uneven to more brighter looking.

The CC cream itself is very moisturising, not thick and almost like water. I like how it gives my skin hydration and healthier looking.  It is so easy to blend plus it is not oily if you refer to the oil test I've done to the CC cream above.

Overall, I like it because it doesn't make my face too oily and it gives a lot of skin benefit because I don't really use moisturiser daily. It just I feel safe before putting any make-up knowing that a layer of CC cream can protect my skin from harm especially the from sun exposure. For the grey undertone, I don't care that much about the shades since I'll wear BB cream or foundation on top of it to correct the color.

So what do you think?
