[REVIEW] Innisfree No Sebum Blur Primer VS Mineral Primer

Hey guys!
Sorry that I haven't update that much since last week, I'm just sad that my semester break is coming to an end, which there is gonna be much lesser post when I'm back to college( I hope not :P)

Anyway, I've been planning to do this comparison post for sometime already. I had the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer for a few months now and I love it so I think it would be great to do a comparison post with the latest released of Innisfree No Sebum Blur Primer.

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer

Ingredients

Innisfree No Sebum Blur Primer

Sorry, it's kinda dirty there.

Ingredients

Pic 1 : I use black eyeliner for the line and tiny dots that will be use to identify the differences between the two primers.

Pic 2 : Left is the Mineral Primer and right is the Blur Primer. They had different color obviously. The Mineral Primer is a translucent primer while the Blur Primer has a nude skin tone color to it.

Pic 3 : I blended both primers and as you can see the Mineral primer did not affect the black line but the Blur Primer did a minor blur to it. Both did smooth out the skin but it wasn't obvious in the picture.

The primer is a gel-like type liquid and feels thick at first but it will gradually get thinner after blended and leave the skin feels very smooth and velvety. I'm not good at explaining things but after fully blended, the primer would make the skin glide softly when you touch it.

Though both of the primer were made with mint but there is none of the minty feels to it but there is minty smell to both of them.

One thing  that everyone should take note while applying this primer is that not putting a lot at a time because it may cause clumping which could annoys you. So it's better to put a little bit on the spot that you want.

I love both primers and I think they really did a good job but personally, I think Blur Primer performed slightly better than Mineral Primer on me because I noticed that the Blur Primer make my skin lasts longer from unwanted sebum. Let's say the Mineral Primers stays on my for about 3 hours, the Blur Primer would stay on me about 5 hours before the sebum starts to formed on my skin.

Regarding the blur on the Blur Primer, I honestly don't think it would do a significant change to the skin because the blurring is very minimal.

Overall, I would recommend this for you to try. I'm not breaking out with this on and it helps my makeup to stay longer.

[REVIEW] Breena Beauty Face Luxe Brush

I don't plan on making a cover page for this post because this screenshot from
Breena Beauty website is already beautiful to begin with! hehe

Breena Beauty is a newly launched brand founded by the Sabrina Tajudin and Tawfiq Nasir. If any of you were familiar with Sabrina, she is a beauty blogger from Malaysia.

Their first product is the multipurpose Face Luxe Brush which can be used for various makeup applications. This brush is Muslim-friendly and cruelty-free because the bristles were made by the finest synthetic fiber.

You can read more here.

Brand : Breena Beauty
Country : Malaysia
Price : RM45/piece

It arrived to me in package like this. The brush were surrounded by thick bubble wraps.

How beautiful is that?!

Though I preferred people to leave out the -chan..haha

I received this brush as a gift for the newly launched brand. It has been with me for about a month and I love it!

The brush bristles were so fluffy and soft and doesn't cause weird ticklish on the face when used. I've used several makeup brush before and some of them feel soft when you rubbed it with fingers but is a bit rough when it comes to applying makeup on the face.

The brush is a dome-shaped and it was really dense. I think it's great for foundation application and I've used this a lot for contouring. Just recently I learned a little bit of contouring and this brush helps me a lot.

Since this is made using the finest synthetic fiber, there is no weird smell to it like some other brush that using goat or horse hair. I do have the goat hair brush before and it smells terrible.

Lastly, there's no hair fall outs from this brush. I've washed this one time before and I only see one hair fall and no more. There's no hair fall while applying makeup either and it's great to not experience that like I did with other brushes.

Overall, I really love this brush. It does a great job and the brush itself is high in quality. The most important thing is the price is really affordable!

Do check Breena Beauty! I'm waiting them to release the eye makeup brushes~

[REVIEW] TheFaceShop Character Mask (Fox,Tiger,Panda)

Hey guys! It's been a week since my last posting. Sorry coz I'm too immersed reading manga and watching animes -_-"  Talking about manga, just recently I started to read shoujo again and do check out Love So Life! The storyline involved a babysitter and a twin! They're so cute! haha

So back to the review, as far as I remembered, I never done any proper mask review before because I was too embarrassed on putting my picture up with mask on but I guess this is exceptional. The masks is so cuteeeeee!

Character mask or animal masks is like all over the place now and also the recent lace mask. The usual mask is kinda plain with no design and I think this is a super brilliant idea :D

Panda :D

Fox :D

Tiger :D
I personally choose The Face Shop brand just because they cost cheaper than the other brand like Berrisom haha..

Taken from cosmetic-love:
The character mask sheet deliver rich moisture to dry and flaky skin with Hyaluronic acid and Collagen. Formulated without 4 additives ( Mineral Oil, Sulfate, Talc, Polyacrylamide)

Different from the other brand, this masks from The Face Shop has only one properties, which to hydrate ( Fox, Tiger, Panda, Otter, Sheep) and I personally think that these mask do a very good job! My skin feels very moist without stickiness and this is a the first time that I feel the extra essence doesn't cause my neck from getting sticky. I usually avoid applying the extra essence from the mask on my neck because it tends to feel uncomfortable and sticky but this mask doesn't do that.
The moisture stay on my skin even on the next day after I woke up from the sleep!

There is a slight honey lemon fragrance which smells really fresh and I loved it! The mask also fits me alright though I preferred it to be a little wider on the sides and shorter on the forehead but it's no big deal.

My favourite design is the panda and tiger coz the fox looks so plain on me...haha

If you want the sheet mask with properties like Brightening, Elasticity or etc, you may check out the new TFS character design ( Puppy, Cow, Pig, Zebra, Monkey)

Overall, I love these masks! I would recommend this to everyone even for oily skin/ acne skin people because it caused me no breakouts and no extra oiliness on the skin :D

[REVIEW] Peripera Peri's Ink Lip Tint #02

Hello again!
I still have a few to review from my haul and also from my previous haul so bare with me.
Today I'll be reviewing a lippy again coz it's the easiest to review, lol

As you might know, I'm a HUGE lip tint fan and I don't think I can ever live without it. Ever since a few months back I thought I want to widen my favourite so I've been trying a few tints from different brand.

Peripera is always known for their tints which started with kinda benefit dupe tint, the Peripera Water Tint and the latest is they're releasing this new Ink Tint. So I choose No.2 Draw Attention which I'm not sure why, probably I was aiming for the pink color.

I didn't know the tint was leaking! But please read my kind of thoughts when I saw this kind of "ink" design to the box.

The tint won't even reached the "washed" colors because the color won't be remove that easily.

The real color is actually brighter than this.

The story behind the leaking box. When the first I open the box, I already noticed there is some discoloration to packaging but I didn't open it because I wasn't too excited by it like I did with VOV lip and Missha lip I reviewed the other day XD A few days ago, my family went out for shopping and dinner so I thought a tint would be best if I want the color to stay long so I opened up the package for the first time and it was leaking sideways and all over my palm. I was quite shocked but then I thought that ''ahh,,this is what the discoloration is about" and I originally thought the discoloration was kind of "ink" design so I thought they actually go for the theme on the box! lol
But no worries about the leaking. I don't think it leaks out that much(probably)

Anyway back to the review, on the first application , I noticed something off with the smell, it was a chemical, medicinal orange smell to it which I really hate about it! geez, these kind of smell were so old already and I wish they put a stop to it. =="

The liquid is very watery and  it is easily absorb to the lips. The color is incredibly opaque that with only 1 application, it really gives a super bright color and I didn't hate it coz I thought it looks great!

In terms of the applicator, it has an average function to it and because the tint is watery and it easily dried so if you mistakenly put uneven color or apply an uneven color to the lips, it'll dry off like that. Usually I'll apply again so that I can adjust the color however, it will be super super bright!lol

Since it is watery, of course I didn't expect them to be moisturizing so in case the lips are too dry, apply lip balm on top or glosses to make it up the loss moisture.

The tint sure are hard to remove and Peripera even released a special remover for this tint. However, if you want to wash it off with normal water, it should be gone after a few washed. Just rubbed running water over the lips and the color will be gone soon. So if you're going for dinner or eating, this is great because the color would stay!

Overall, I have the love-hate relationship with this tint, but since the stain is incredible, I surely recommend for you to try to see if you like it.
