[REVIEW] Benton Honest Tea Tree Mist

Hey guys!

Today I'll be reviewing this new product from Benton Cosmetics, sent by RoseRoseShop. If you knew Benton, they are a highly raved cosmetics among beauty bloggers for their skincare and RoseRoseShop kindly offered me this product to be review.

If you aren't familiar with RoseRoseShop, they are seniors in online Kbeauty shopping and if you're a Kbeauty addict like me who loves to shop, you should have knew them :D They're originally an ebay seller and have their own website now called roseroseshop.com which features tons of beauty brands! You can also found tons of samples of products which you can try before actually purchase the full-sized product. Go check them out at roseroseshop.com

Price : $5.41               Link : HERE

I sprayed the mist onto the leaves which you can see tiny droplets of water.

Honestly I was surprised of the packaging. I haven't seen any mist in the shape of BB cream. Usually mists came in a slim cylinder bottle but this is really unique

Since it was in the shape like a BB cream, this mist will definitely fit in most of make up bag for travel. I find that this is easy to hold and the shape itself doesn't take too much space and it's lightweight!

Benton is always about natural ingredients and this mist contain mostly natural ingredients and it doesn't contain any fragrance which is great for sensitive skin. I'm also glad that Tee Tree is the first ingredient listed for this mist because it indicate that the percentage of Tea Tree is high. Tea Tree itself is great to treat acne, fungal and bacterial infections (source here) and it is also suitable for all types of skin.

The mist sprayed a really fine mist and it feels refreshing and a little cooling on the skin. The mist itself is just like water, no added an extra oil so it absorbs really fast on the skin.

You can use this mist after cleansing your face or when your skin is dry. It doesn't contain any extra moistness to it since it is water. Patting the mist after spraying would help it to absorb faster.

Pros :
  • Shape that allows to fit in most make up bags.
  • Lightweight.
  • Slim in size.
  • Doesn't have fragrance.
  • Suitable for all types of skin especially acne-prone skin.
  • Refreshing and cooling.
Cons :
  • Might not have an extra moist if you're looking for one.
Overall, I love this mist. Usually I would spray them before I go to sleep or even after a long day of makeup.

Thank you for reading.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist

Hey guys! I felt so guilty for not blogging for so long! I haven't made any new post on September too. I apologize that I'm too busy especially this semester where all those big assignments that I have which lessen my time to blog. Anyway, since I'm on holiday now and classes doesn't hindrance the time I needed so it's fine to blog.

I made a small haul like a month ago which I bought three items including this mist. There's a big coupon event on Qoo10 at that time which I got RM30 off for this haul and an extra sale from the seller, which is SweetboxSG. It was the beginning of summer there in Korea so they're having the summer sales for this mist. I don't remember what's the price I got for this since they've changed the price on the website but maybe around RM30+ something?

I've been obsessed with green tea products after the serum that I tried and I've been wanting to get a mist for so long that I bought this. There is a smaller version of this mist, about 50ml and this is the bigger size 150ml. Do check this out on SweetboxSG on Qoo10 if you want to get this mist.

Trying to do the spray thing but it's so windy outside that I had to retake and waste my mist..haha

I always wanted a spray type skincare to be my toner or to prep my skin because it is easier that way. Since there aren't many toners that come out in a spray type so I just have to look for mist instead to be my toner. I know some maybe says that it wouldn't enough or it's not good but it's just my preference. I don't like overly-moisturized toner just to prep my skin because it will be a mess later with sebum problem since my skin is oily after all.

I find that this mist is good enough for my skin since it was light, gives a little cooling on the skin and it lightly moisturize my face. I felt that is enough for starter before I put on the moisturizer later. I find it is also controls my sebum excretion later on the day because my skin is not usually as oily as it would be. As you can see from the picture above, the nozzle sprays a really fine mist out. I almost feel nothing when spraying because it is a really fine mist.

It doesn't leave the skin sticky nor tight feeling and it does have a little fragrance in it which I find not too overpowering for me and it smells nice. I don't have any break out while using this and will definitely repurchase if I got the chance again.

Overall, it's a very nice fine mist and suit every skin types. It might sting a little if it does goes into the eyes but just avoid that part. I'm clumsy so that's why it goes into my eyes every time, lol

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] Etude House I'm Blooming Sebum Control Mist

I'm currently try to balance between my makeup and skin care because recently, I don't like to put much make-up onto my face and I think to focus on skin care more. Too bad the skin care that I aim is very expensive and not available locally plus credit card is needed to purchase them from overseas. My dad gives me permission to use his credit card but he gonna be mad if he knows I'm buying the expensive skin care..haha.. so I took another option by just trying other Korean and Japanese brands that I can access easily without credit card..lol

I saw this new I'm Blooming line by Etude House back then and one of the product is made from pure green tea which I've been looking for some time :D
I watched the JungSaemMol tips for oily skin -how to prep skin for oily skin- and they used pure green to replace the normal toner as a result of controlling the oil. Coincidentally, Etude House is releasing a product made by pure green tea so I grab it without hesitation(plus they promote it as organic too!)

The bottle is really huge for a mist which is 150ml! I thought it gonna be smaller than that :D
The packaging is all pink with cute small flowers details on the box. It is so cute <3

The previous mist I've tried, they have quite of a strong smell and some even have medicinal smell which I really hate. Mist supposed to be calming and doesn't have strong smell and this one hit that. It has no fragrance but somehow it leaves a nice fragrant while spraying ( though it's gone after seconds )

On the box, they says that this mist is produced from 95.9% of early summer green tea extract(Camelia Sinesis Leaf Extract) which balances out skin's moisture level for a moist inside with a soft, powdery outside.
Honestly, it doesn't feel powdery at all. If it does, then I'm gonna hate it. Lucky that it wasn't..lol
The rest of percent are organic ingredients too so please check in the ingredients picture I captured above!

The past month, I said that I don't really care much of my face and it actually turns very bad as I got pretty bad acne popping up 0.0 Just after my finals, I realized that it actually turns worser. I took a lot of time 'repairing' those problems on my skin last and this week and a part of the help came from this mist! I'm running out of my toner so I used this as a substitute. I'm glad that it actually helps! I got less break out and some of bigger pimples are even healed a bit. ( I don't use any acne medicine btw )

Other than that, I can see that slow down the produce of oil on my face. I can't say that it lessen my oil, it just I saw that the oil came out a bit later than the usual.

It has no colorant too as it is exactly like water, non-greasy, absorbs easily and makes my skin smoother after use :D

Overall, I really love this mist and wanted to try the Cleansing Water next!
*praying that there would be sales for that* lol
